Nungwi Beach Resort by Turaco – Zanzibar

We had a wonderful stay at Turaco Nungwi Resort. The reception staff were warm and welcoming, the bar served great drinks, and the food was delicious with plenty of variety. The rooms were clean, the service was excellent, and the beautiful beachfront made our stay even more special. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Zanzibar!

Turaco in Nungwi is amazing - it’s a dreamy location and a very authentic feel to the place. We had an ocean view which was stunning. Coming out to the see every morning. The room was so incredible and the furniture was beautiful. It was always clean and the service from all staff was incredible. The chefs were so so good and the food was lovely with different cuisines from around the world. Lovely Bengali chef we spoke to. We had half board which we found great value for money. Ayubu was very friendly and helpful. The resort was also very quiet and peaceful.

The stay was very nice. Breakfast was good. The staff is very friendly. The location is awesome with a great view of the sunset. Keep in mind that swimming in the sea isn't easy with low tide.
