Nungwi Beach Resort by Turaco – Zanzibar

We had a superb stay! A most comfortable room; superb food and excellent attentive friendly staff. There is a brilliant range of food and drinks available (we stayed ‘all-inclusive’). There is a great atmosphere at the beach bar area with live music several times a week

Incredible experience!! Tanzanian Specialists recommended this resort for our extended family (ages 2-72) and it was fantastic!! The staff were extremely attentive, the food was superb, the rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated with every amenity included. We have been to many hotels and this one is at the TOP! A great place to relax after safari or just get the spa services! Nightly entertainment was a fun surprise. Well worth the cost for this place!

It was an amazing stay! Very relaxing! Mioja was extremely helpful with anything that needed to be done. Whether it be getting you a ride or carrying luggage he was always on top of it! Upenda was also very helpful in making the checkout process quick and easy. The rooms were top notch, and the ocean was crystal clear!

Located almost at the North tip of Zanzibar, the Hotel has direct access to the Nungwi beach. The atmosphere is warm and relaxed. The crew is very polite and friendly. The rooms have aircondition and are quite big. The beach is ok, but at low tide it is a lot of seaweed and rocks. At high tides it is fun, but not very suitable for small children.
