Riu Jambo

We had an amazing stay at the RIU Jambo in Zanzibar. The beachfront location, lined with palm trees instead of umbrellas, felt especially relaxing. Food was excellent throughout — all three restaurants were great, and the main buffet offered plenty of high-quality variety. Staff were friendly and welcoming, rooms were clean, and beds were very comfortable. Entertainment was a highlight, especially the Maasai Warriors, White Party, and Neon Party. Overall, a fantastic experience we’d highly recommend.

The hotel is wonderful, the staff is always friendly if you are friendly, the cuisine is different, there is everything to your taste, every evening there are parties, the sea is calm, the contingent is older people, not many young people, there are many family vacationers. The rooms are cleaned, water is brought, and most importantly, people try to create comfort, an atmosphere and feel at home. Advice to vacationers is to take more expensive insurance, what tour agencies offer is not suitable. Rio Jumbo is for those who want a beautiful sea, service and exoticism

I will start with saying this hotel is possibly the best hotel I have ever stayed in and I have been to Caribbean, Mexico, far east etc. The hotel grounds are spotless and constantly being maintained. The restaurants and food are amazing, it most of all the staff are what makes this hotel special. Never met so many friendly beautiful people who can’t do enough to make you happy and your stay special. Our holiday was disrupted due to the issues in the Middle East and the hotel were so accommodating to our needs and couldn’t do enough to look after us. I always say I will never return to the same place however I will definitely be back here.
