Riu Jambo

We felt at home from the very first day of our stay. The staff were incredibly kind, friendly, and always willing to help, making us feel truly welcome. The food was excellent – there was a great variety every day, and there was always something delicious to choose from. The bar service was outstanding; we never had to wait long, and after just one day the bartenders already knew our favorite drinks and would prepare them for us without even asking. The sea was crystal clear, and the beach was absolutely stunning. The Maasai vendors selling souvenirs directly on the beach could be a little distracting at times, but they were never overly pushy. The local people were friendly, enjoyed chatting with guests, and contributed to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The only negative point was our room location near the reception area. On a few occasions, noisy guests returning late at night disturbed our sleep. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and truly enjoyed our stay. We would definitely love to come back again in the future. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Really nice hotel and staff. Could do a few things/make changes and it could be a 5*. I would strongly suggest the Asian restaurant be turned into a teppanyaki restaurant with a live cooking demonstration and this would be amazing and similar to other hotels we’ve visited. The hotel is clean, well maintained and the beach is just stunning. The buffet has lots of choice (no brown bread or fresh milk only UHT or oat etc) but very good. The restaurants in the huts out on the sea are lovely, the view is amazing. Note the sun sets about 6.30pm so lots gather on the beach to watch the sunset before heading off for dinner. You need to get the App to book restaurants other than buffet (3 need reservations) Lots of beach sellers if you need to buy anything, no ATM at the hotel but the guy on the beach can take care payments in exchange for cash. Sounds dodgy but they are genuine people and not scammers so it worked well with no issues. The hotel does not provide this service so it’s your only option if you need money. There is entertainment every night but Fridays are the best with a massive party, stage and podium dancers, balloons, bubble machine, DJ, cocktails dancers on stilts and led outfits. Other nights is bingo, earth show, Massai warriors and quiz, but always something. Daytime had activities by the main pool/beach bar… like aqua aerobics, water volleyball, magic carpet in the pool, you can also pay for a dive or just use the free options like a pedalo, kyacks or scuba dive the the pool. ,

We stayed for two nights while celebrating my partner’s birthday, and we were both absolutely blown away by the experience. The resort is stunning, the buffet is simply exceptional, and the staff are incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. As people who love to have fun and enjoy a vibrant atmosphere, the highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the RIU Party. We loved every moment of it and thoroughly enjoyed the energy, entertainment, and overall experience. This place has truly earned a special place in our hearts, and we will definitely be returning. Every aspect of our stay exceeded our expectations, and it was worth every single penny. Thank you for making our celebration so memorable! ❤️

Absolutely a 10/10 experience. The food, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and amazing facilities all contributed to a fantastic holiday. This was our first visit and we are already planning our next trip. Special thanks to Rosemary at the swim up bar, she introduced us to the most delicious cocktails and always served us with a warm smile. The Riu Party also gets a special mention, it was very well organized and a fun activity to end off our stay

Excellent service, fantastic food and great staff. Can't wait to come again next year. Stand out staff was Neema and Busara at the dining area. Lillian was great with checking us in and we absolutely loved the Yunnin Restaurant.
