Royal Mandarin Hotel & Resort

We spent six days at the Royal Mandarin with our family and left with nothing but good memories. The room was spotless — housekeeping was thorough every single day, and everything was well kept. The all-inclusive was genuinely good value, not the usual compromise. The buffet had real variety, so nobody got bored across six days, and the fresh seafood and local Zanzibari dishes were a highlight. The bar deserves a mention too: cocktails were well made and served with a smile. What made the difference, though, was the staff. Every single member of the team was friendly, attentive, and quick to accommodate the kids and any special requests we had. A special thank you to McDonald, who went out of his way to help us more than once and always with a smile — but really, the whole team was excellent. Honestly, nothing worth complaining about. If you're travelling with family and want a place where everything just works, this is it. We'd come back.

We came with all family and friends and had relaxing and nice week after Safari in main land. We had the better beach level rooms closest to the sea. Kids had so much fun. Rooms were clean and service was great. Especially want to point out the great food we had 3 times every day in the main restaurant. The Great team under Hanna (Food and beverage Manager) made sure we are happy every day, having great food, drinks and spoiled us all the time.

Great hotel in a beautiful location. Rooms were very clean, food was delicious, and service was very helpful and friendly. Hanna, a restaurant manager was super professional and kept everything in perfect condition. Our younger daughter loved the activities organised by the hotel. 100% recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The services are of very high quality and the hotel is ideally located right on the beach. The facilities and evening entertainment were superb. The food is a real highlight - excellent quality and varied. A big thank you to the staff who were always smiling, welcoming and helpful, with a special thank you to Hannah and Jacques who made our stay even more enjoyable. We recommend this hotel without hesitation and will gladly return.
