The Mora Zanzibar

Wonderful resort. It has first class facilities. On site scuba and snorkeling facilities. A location from which you cam explore the rest of the island. An office on site from which you can book any off site excursions. But best of all it has wonderful staff.

Tonight was the highlight of my stay with Chef Ludwig. What an amazing man!!!! Brilliant chef and top class comedian. Absolutely delicious food. Can't put into words what an a FATASTIC evening we had!!! A definite asset to the Mora Hotel. Jikan restaurant!!! A must for all visitors! AMAZING!!!!!!

An amazing 5-star resort in Zanzibar. We had a bit of a misunderstanding at check-in due to miscommunication between our tour operator and the hotel. This could have been solved quicker than it took, especially as our two kids were tired from the long safari trip and flight from Arusha to Zanzibar. However, the reservation manager Shreyas was the consummate professional and sorted out our issue. The rest of the stay was magical. Everything is superb. Staff is top notch, Rosemary is wonderful, caring, and is devoted to making your stay a comfortable one. Food is excellent and diverse. The pools are immaculate, but do try the beach club restaurant (hidden gem). The beach is white sands and perfect for swimming with kids. Note the resort is an hour and half away from the airport and Stone City, which makes it difficult to explore the town easily.

Had a really nice diner here, lovely ambience and great food. The tender lion was especially ‘tender’! Thanks to the staff for this amazing evening.
