The Mora Zanzibar

Communication was incredibly difficult. Even though there is only a 1-hour time difference with Greece, replies were received extremely late. We had already informed them the night before that our flight would be delayed and asked them to notify the driver they had arranged to pick us up not to wait. That never happened, and not only did it not happen, but the driver actually told us off for not letting them know. Furthermore, room service was literally non-existent. The one time they changed the towels, they didn't leave us bath towels; I kept calling to let them know, and they kept telling me the cleaner would come right away, but she never came. Because the hotel was massive, we asked for help with our luggage; they told us that of course someone would come, and naturally, no one ever did. Overall, the communication was truly abysmal; it was as if they didn't care at all about what we were saying.

The hotel is beautiful but most important is the help from the front desk manager Moses who helped our family have a smooth checkin despite all the challenges before the trip. 10/10

I really recommend to get a massage from Merry on the spa! Amazing!

Everything was very clean and comfortable, housekeeping came 2-3 times a day. The resort is located in a wonderful surrounding. Food was okay but not extraordinary as I would have expected for a 5 star resort. Too many drinks on the menu were with extra charge. That was not all incl. as I know it from other resorts. Staff was not outstandingly friendly but their service was satisfactory Hardly any music entertainment and fun in the evening as I know from other places - that was a bit disappointing. The rest was nice that is why I would give 4 stars.
