The Mora Zanzibar

The Mora is an absolutely beautiful 5 star resort, We visited for 5 days and had an amazing time, the restaurants were great with nice variety of food and drinks we did experience the special tepanyaki dinner.as an additional supplement which is well worth it. Their service was exceptional at all time. being an all inclusive resort the cocktails and drinks were on good standard. Mora has the most beautiful beach with soft powdery sand. staff was always friendly and helpful. I will definitely return to the Mora someday.

We had the best time at The Mora ,we were on a family vacation and it suited everyones needs.The rooms are very spacious and the food is really good!

Allround amazing experience. Great service from exceptional staff, first class food and great facilities. 4th time in Zanzibar and by far the best experience. Comfortably rivals Mauritius visits with the friendliness/attentiveness of staff at the Mora streets ahead.

Great location. Amazing staff all through. Special appreciation to Remi, Michael & Khadijah. Great celebration of Mora at 2. It would have been great to have some takeaway souvenirs. Suggest to include snacks in room e.g. crisps, nuts etc.

Don’t ruin your safari trip with a bad ending here in The Mora Zanzibar (especially if you are an Asian traveller). The hotel staffs were extremely lazy, do not bother to even finish a full sentence while conversing and the whole hotel vibes is just bad despite the nicely renovated interior. On our second & third day here, we started noticing the huge treatment differences towards the Caucasian & Asian travellers. They would serve the Caucasians nicely, but entirely ignore us Asians in the restaurant especially. We would have to kept order for a beverage, whereas there’s table service to all other tables with Caucasian travellers. In the buffet stations, the staffs would ignore us and cook for the Caucasians first despite us queuing up first. If you would like to be racist and only serve Caucasians, you could’ve write it in the hotel description and we will save the trouble from booking with The Mora. These last 3 days here really ruined our trip.
