TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar

This was honestly the best hotel we stayed at out of the five different hotels we visited around Zanzibar. Even though it’s located on the east coast, it was absolutely perfect for us and we had such an amazing stay. What really made this place stand out was the incredible service, especially from the bar manager, Audaze. He went above and beyond to make sure we had a fantastic experience and truly did everything he could for us during our stay. His kindness, professionalism, and attention made a huge difference, and honestly, that alone made this hotel feel exceptional. A big thank you to Audaze and the whole team for making our stay so memorable. We would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zanzibar

Great resort overall. Not too much kids activities but facilities and food was great. Rooms were also great. Aisha gave good service in the restaurant and Yussuf catered to all our dietary needs as vegetarian.

Myself, my wife and brother and sister in law visited in Feb 26 for what was supposed to be a 10 night stay but was extended beyond our control. Anyway what can I say? At all times the staff were superb- some names to note were Yasnita at the bar in the evenings, what an absolute shining star and an employee to be proud of. Ali, who took us around on the back of house tour, showing us the workings of a large resort and meeting the people who make it possible. Fredrick, always happy to interact down by the bar in the evening all goes toward realising the people of Zanzibar are amongst the friendliest I’ve ever met! The facilities were spot on, and everything was spotless or being dealt with if it wasn’t. The rooms were perfect aside from the odd time there was no hot water, but I’m really being picky by even mentioning it. But here’s the really nice bit- as mentioned we were unable to fly home for nearly two weeks after our original date, and everyone was very helpful and allowed us to stay until we got a flight- this goes a long way with us, and rather than us all being relocated, we were told to stay put and continue enjoying the resort. I was not bothered at all by this delay, indeed I wish I was still there! Keep doing what you do guys!

The hotel was amazing everything is well thought of. We came for one night and we will definitely came back again for more. Mr Celestine was helpful. We recommend Tui Blue Bahari Zanzibar in Pwani mchangani.

We arrived at 05:30 in the pitch black after travelling for 22 hrs and no sleep,disorientated and exhausted in need of a bed to sleep . We were told check in was 2pm which was another 81/2 hrs away ! Or we could pay 150 Dollars for an early check in. What would you do ? Begrudgingly we paid the money but felt outraged after spending so much to get here in the first place. Our room was available after all but feel like they were just after more money !!! later we were told this is the Tui Blue Policy as the person who replies to this will tell you. In most companies they can apply mitigating circumstances which we feel this was one of which the check in staff should have be trained up on. In any of the tui paperwork we had prior to departure nothing about these polices are mentioned or in any of the need to know information. So after a dreadful check in procedure the hotel is very nice. Beautiful grounds, Lovely Room, fantastic cheerful staff, Lots of choice on the food and restaurants our favourite being the Italian "Andiamo" and good choice of drinks and bars, Big thanks to Audex and Joseph for looking after us. Plenty of sunbeds so no fighting for them in a morning. The beach area is nice also but once you go into the sea for a swim the maasai will be at you for all sorts like a reef tour or to buy their wares. The sea was really warm There are two really nice dinners the hotel put on during our stay but are weather dependant obvs . The poolside Dinner is set out beautifully around the pool with all the food outside for you to help yourself. Like wise the dinner on the beach is even more spectacular with a Maasai show and band on. Really was a great night. There were quite a few power cuts during our stay but the hotel do try and put this right . We had to shower a couple of times by mobile phone but they did supply torches eventually. Sent us a nice bottle of fizz to compensate. Apart from our check in we had a lovely time and thanks to Hassan the food and beverage manager for listening to us about it and trying to get involved. Take some tips for the staff people . Us dollars are fine, The hotel is cashless so you wont be able to change money for tip money so be prepared. Now I know somebody from the hotel will reply about our check in but its to late now we are home and you were aware when we were there.
