TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar

Thank you to Marie (GM) and all the staff for a truly 5 Star holiday experience. The new rooms are excellent and being greeted with a happy Jambo by every member of staff cannot help but make you smile. The choice of pools, restaurants, bars and sunbathing facilities is perfect. Food and entertainment first class. I counted 12 different nationalities there so you must be doing something right. I will be back again.

We had a really lovely stay at this hotel and overall were very happy with our experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, with really nice architecture and lots of things to do. There are plenty of activities available, including different sports, painting classes, cooking courses, etc. The hotel cats were all very friendly, tame and clearly well looked after. Our room was spacious, and the bed was huge and very comfortable. The bathroom was modern, clean and open-plan, so just something to keep in mind if you’re not travelling as a couple, as there isn’t much privacy. We did have power blackouts every day in the evenings, but they never lasted long and honestly didn’t bother us. The food was also really delicious. On top of the main restaurant, there are four other restaurants — Italian, Asian, seafood and BBQ — so you can easily switch things up and don’t feel like you’re eating the same thing every day. The beach area is built slightly higher up, which we thought was a clever solution, as there are quite a few local vendors on the beach. The moment you stepped onto the beach, someone would approach you trying to sell you something. Thankfully, the hotel handled this very well, with at least two security guards always around to keep the vendors from entering the resort. Although it was a little annoying, we always felt safe. We also had a massage at the spa, which was great and definitely worth doing. And finally, the staff deserve a special mention. Everyone was incredibly nice, friendly and helpful. They were always checking if you needed something. All in all, we had a great holiday and would definitely recommend the hotel. Beautiful surroundings, comfortable rooms, good food, lots of activities and genuinely lovely staff — we really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed here for our honeymoon. The experience was excellent. Food and drink exceptional and we had a honeymoon dinner on the beach one night. The food was brilliant and the service even better by our waitress Deborah. She was attentive and explained food choices well etc. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough to anyone
