TUI BLUE Bahari Zanzibar

Jambo, I never usually write reviews because usually there’s no point but this hotel fully deserves one. I’ll start by saying, amazing staff, lovely food, overall great experience for me and the mrs for our honeymoon. Location About an hour away from the airport which is worth it as it’s located north east of the island where the beach is pure white sand and clear warm waters. Atmosphere It’s got a really nice atmosphere to it, mainly made by the welcoming and accommodating staff. You either chill at the pool or chill at the beach or chill even more at the quiet pool located near the apartments. Rooms The rooms are extremely clean and well prepared for keeping the mosquitos out with netting around doors, windows and the bed and black out curtains. Our rooms was on the bottom floor which was very spacious with a lounge-like area with a three seater sofa and coffee table. At night the maids come around and spray your room with mosquito spray giving you an extra peace of mind. (I think this is only for bottom floor rooms from speaking to other guests) Things to do They have all sorts of different classes like cooking, art and cocktail making classes and many more, keeping you busy if you don’t fancy lazing around on a sunbed all day. They also play various games like volleyball and spike ball, they do have a little football pitch but never saw anyone using it. Staff I was shocked… I have never been to a hotel where every single member of staff is so friendly and make you feel really at home and comfortable, there was a few stand out staff members who made our honeymoon the best experience with their energy and hard work. So shout out to Winifreda, a real sweetheart who looked after us around the pool everyday and also going above and beyond with the service, always smiling, always positive. Another shoutout to Courage who works in the Green and Grill and has a really positive energy who made our dinner by the pool and dinner by the beach so special, I have never met anyone as bubbly as this lady, we loved speaking to her. A special mention to Yasinta, who worked at the pool bar in the evening, such great service and had the biggest and warmest smile. Food We loved the food everywhere. The buffet in the main restaurant isnt huge amount of selection but better as everything is cooked properly. Green and grill at lunch time is bang on, the only minor problem with it is you can wait up to 30 minutes for your food to come out when it’s busy, but the food is made and prepared fresh so not the end of the world ey. Well done TUI Blue Bahari Zanzibar. We don’t usually go to the same hotel twice but we’d happy return here.

Atmosphere beacause of Caurage on our dinner on the beach, rooms, sercvice, location, cleanliness

We had the chance to stay at this hotel for two weeks. The hotel itself is in a beautiful area with separate parts to sleep in. The rooms are nice and clean and also provide a net against mosquitos. The park and private beach of the hotel are clean and nice to relax. The restaurants and bars are are also very pretty and the food is very good and tasty. Not to forget about the people that are working there, doesn't matter if they work at the bar, restaurant or spa, they are all super nice, most kind and always ready to help you with any problems. Special thank you to Lillian, Elisabeth, Jasinta who tried to make everything perfect for us. Last but not least, I have to mention our TUI Blue Guide Ally who has been the best guy I've ever met. Never met such an incredible kind and helpful person, he will do his very best to make it the best holiday for you! For us he created unforgettable and beautiful memories and we wanted to specially thank him again for that. So please reach out for him, he is the man! Thank you again.

Honest Review – TUI Blue Bahari 🌴🤍 We stayed at TUI Blue Bahari for our two-week honeymoon after seeing it recommended so many times in a FB group, and I’m so glad we chose it. The food was honestly one of the biggest highlights of our stay. Over two weeks, I didn’t have a single bad meal. Every restaurant was fantastic, with so much choice and everything cooked to such a high standard. It really exceeded our expectations. The staff were absolutely incredible. Every single member of staff we met was friendly, welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. They genuinely made our honeymoon feel so special, and nothing ever seemed like too much trouble. Especially Winifida Mmary! She was a delight to see everyday! She even looked after my husband one day when he wasn’t feeling very well making him a special drink! Then kept coming back to check on him. We also booked our one-day safari through the hotel after comparing prices with lots of companies before travelling. Surprisingly, the hotel was actually cheaper than most of the external companies. The package included transfers, return flights, food and drinks, game drives and transport back to the hotel. It was one of the best experiences of our trip, so I’d definitely recommend checking with the hotel before booking excursions elsewhere. The hotel was also great for organising taxis. Rather than paying inflated excursion prices, we booked a taxi through the hotel and had the driver for the whole day. It worked out much cheaper, and our driver was amazing, sharing so much history and local knowledge with us along the way. One evening we booked the private beach dining experience, where your table is set up in a beautiful triangle of lights on the beach. It’s an extra cost, but we thought it would be the perfect way to celebrate our honeymoon. Unfortunately, we booked it for our last evening and there happened to be a power cut across the resort, so we ended up having our romantic dinner in the dark! Despite that, the staff handled everything brilliantly. They allowed us to order from the main à la carte menu instead, and the food was absolutely incredible. We got so much for our money, and the chef even came out several times with surprise dishes for us to try, which were all delicious. Even though the evening didn’t quite go to plan, the staff went above and beyond to make it as special as they could. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would happily return. The beautiful surroundings, exceptional food and outstanding staff made it a honeymoon we’ll never forget. I’d highly recommend TUI Blue Bahari to anyone looking for a relaxing, all-inclusive stay in Zanzibar.
