Dreams Sunny Beach Resort & Spa

Absolutely amazing hotel and spa experience. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and very comfortable, with a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. The spa was one of the highlights of my stay — professional staff, perfect massage and excellent service from start to finish. Everything felt high quality and well organized. I truly felt relaxed and welcomed during my entire visit. Definitely a place I would love to come back to again. Highly recommended!

Dissapointing experience, untrained & rude staff, poor assistance at the reception, poor English language, no places available at the lounge for UAI clients, no places available in the main restaurant for UAI clients; regular normal clients sitting in the lounge area instead of UAI clients, taking out beers and soda - nobody supervised this therefore they managed to break the doorknob! Poor organisation in the main restaurant, the food pretty much the same everyday. Stupid way to the Spa through the inner courtyard with slippers and bathrobe then back inside with the same dirty slipper!??? WHY? At the checkout I managed to forget a book in my hotel room and sent an email 5 days ago...so far - no answer or contact!!! Poor Hyatt chain in Bulgaria - I don;t understand why this big serious business risked to open in May without having appropiate trained staff, managers and supervisor!!

I have stayed at this hotel before, in 2022 as well. I was hoping to see improvements, but the surprise was finding a 5-star hotel with 3-star services. For 600 rooms, there was only one bar open during the day. The snacks between meals consisted of some cream pastries (terribly artificial), bruschettas, and sandwiches with just a single slice of cheese. It was the same every day. As for the food in the main restaurant, that was the biggest disappointment. All types of meat you saw at dinner would reappear the next day at lunch in different combinations. The desserts were the same throughout the entire stay and identical to those offered as snacks (maximum 5 varieties). The same cold cuts and cheeses were served repeatedly, and when it came to fruit, every day you could only find watermelon, melon, orange and grapefruit slices, kiwi, and on some days bananas. There were no more than two types of soup available. The minibar in the room was never restocked with soft drinks, beer, or water. I had to go look for the housekeeper to ask for water, because she said she didn’t have any soft drinks or beer. In the room, we found two size S bathrobes, made of a thin material, with torn sleeves and belts made from several pieces tied together.

Pros: Staff were friendly, rooms were cleaned everyday with fresh bedding and towels, complex inside and out very clean. Drinks were branded, beds were comfy, plenty of availability for sun beds in the spa and outside and plenty of variation of food. Cons: Pool outside and inside is too cold, lack of availability to book extra restaurants, and the only one we managed to get was Asian and the food was really not great, it can get very busy that you may not get a table at peak times and evening entertainment was very poor wasps at the pool areas if guests leave drinks round sunbeds. Location within walking distance of hotel is poor with one supermarket and one pharmacy 15 minute walk away. Tips: We did not require mosquito spray at this time of year. Sunny beach is a must! If you want fine dining go to La Flore in sunny beach, exquisite food. Take note of the busy restaurant times which are listed outside restaurant. They take Euros here as well as Bulgarian Lev. Overall it’s a 3.5-4 star restaurant. We would not return purely on location around the hotel.
