Continental Hotel Hurghada

A very good hotel that I recommend. It’s not a huge hotel as you can see in Hurghada but an intimate one with beautiful beach. The staff is very kind and professional. Special mention to Mohamed at the reception who is always paying attention that you are fine, really caring. Special thanks to Omar and Abdallah from the spa who are always trying to find the best solution for you. And huge thanks to Sabah who released my leg pains with her incredible massages. She is talented, super kind and professional Big thanks to them ❤️❤️

We chose Continental Hotel Hurghada partly because of its very good reviews. Cleanliness was our first disappointment. We stayed in one of the villas with a small pool, which was a nice feature, but on arrival there was a clearly visible layer of dust on the furniture and in the bathroom. Some public toilets were also not as clean as we would expect. Despite the hotel's “Go Green” and water-saving messages, the toilet in our villa was continuously leaking water. The beach was our biggest disappointment. It was not cleaned and maintained well enough, and the actual swimming area is quite small. There is a marina next to the beach with tourist boats leaving and returning every day, and at times we could smell fuel. Part of the water is also used for water activities requiring speedboats, while swimming beyond the buoys is not allowed because of boat traffic.During our stay, we saw no corals or colourful fish at the hotel beach. If you are coming to the Red Sea hoping to snorkel and see colourful fish and corals directly from your hotel beach, this is something worth knowing before booking. The food was fine, but we expected more variety. Food availability was also quite restricted to set times. Ice cream was available only from 15:00 to 17:00, and after dinner there was basically nothing available to eat. Some staff members were genuinely friendly, but overall the service was less welcoming than we expected. One small example: we approached a bar at 11:59 and were told we could not be served because it opened at 12:00. A small thing, but hospitality is often about small things. One important point for guests with late flights: check-out was at 12:00 and our transfer was around midnight. Continuing to use beach towels and having lunch and dinner after check-out cost USD 30 per person (USD 120 for the four of us) without a room. There were positives, but overall we expected more from a 5-star hotel.

It’s excellent resort. Room have a beautiful view on red sea and pool. The workers are very kind and service is on top level. I recommend.

Very good hotel , the employees are very helpfull if in need of something wether it is drinks , food , the route to a place you want to visit , everything ! The rooms are kept very clean, you dont get annoyed by sellsman , just have a very relaxing holiday here , and enjoying the vieuws . Clean swimmingpool area , the beach also very nice . Food is good , different kind of foods to try here , so all with all i enjoy this place and i will most certainly visit here again . Thanks to diana who is very kind person and has a nice way of interaction with the people who visit the hotel !
