Pickalbatros Aqua Vista Resort

I’ll start by saying that I honestly cannot recommend this hotel enough. It was simply amazing and by far the best hotel that I’ve ever visited. The fact that you can use all 3 hotels/facilities (Aqua Vista, Aqua Blu & Aqua park) is a huge bonus. we mostly stayed in Aqua vista and loved it, we did visit aqua blu once to see the swim up bar and it was alright but nothing amazing, we were very happy staying in Aqua Vista for our 2 week stay. It’s very clear to see that cleanliness is a top priority in this hotel, you’ll almost always see someone cleaning even at night on the way back to our hotel there was always someone mopping or cleaning the pools etc. Our room was very clean and we loved the lovely way the cleaners arranged our towels for us. The greenery around is also lovely, around the pool and hotel there is beautiful flower beds and arrangements. I really can’t fault the cleanliness at all the entertainment was good but we didn’t pay much attention to it which was probably just our preference. there’s music, inflatables in the pool, pool party, foam party etc. there’s a-lot for children to do and would recommend if you have small children (teenager here so can’t really comment much). I will say that it isn’t very clear when or where entertainment is happening, you’ll have the odd person coming to ask and advertise it but I think it could be made a bit clearer, especially as the resort is so bit the staff are absolutely lovely, they go above and beyond for you, constantly. a special shoutout to Ismil one of the bar staff at Aqua Vista he was extremely kind and always asking us if we needed anything and ended up remembering our usuals and not even having to ask, huge shoutout to him! Staff are always happy to help and smiling which is lovely to see always I only have a few complaints which are very minor. This one is not to the hotels fault at all but just be mindful of other guests as they can be quite rude.. again, not the hotels fault at all! The food is quite repetitive and feel like their could be more places to eat due to how big the resort is. If you’re planning to go to the beach at the beach resort I’d say don’t bother. Make sure to use BOTTLED water when brushing your teeth and NOT tap water.. 2/3 of us on this holiday were vomiting and 3/3 of us had dodgy stomachs at some point.. just be cautious! overall Pickalbaltros Aqua Vista was a great hotel and an unforgettable holiday. I’d 100% visit again and 100% reccomend!
