Phaea Blue

We had a week here in a pool room. It was spectacular from start to finish. The room was equipped with everything you need from toiletries to iron etc. fully stocked mini bar and tea and coffee. We found the facilities were great, the breakfast was amazing, lots of choice and the breakfast staff were so nice and very efficient. The gym is well equipped and wasn't busy on the 1 occasion I could be bothered to remove myself from a sunbed! Lunch at the Blue Door was a brilliant location right on the beach again food was so good. The beach was tranquil and easy access into the water for swimming. There are a few steps up to the main complex but you can be picked up by buggy at any point so wasn't and issue. A short walk into Plaka in the evenings had plenty of restaurants, all with great reviews. We would definitely return here mainly due to the staff they couldn't do enough to make our stay perfect.

Amazing hotel, amazing staff and service and lovely high end rooms

An exceptional stay in every respect. Phaea Blue stands out not only for the beauty of the property and its stunning surroundings, but above all for its extraordinary attention to detail and the genuine care shown to every guest. Everything is handled with great discretion, effortless efficiency and professionalism, without ever feeling intrusive. We stayed in a sea-view bungalow, which was spacious, beautifully appointed and exceptionally clean, with housekeeping service provided several times throughout the day. The view from our room overlooking the island of Spinalonga was simply breathtaking. The beds were extremely comfortable, the pillows outstanding, and above all, the absolute peace and quiet made it possible to truly relax and enjoy a perfect rest. Every single request we made was taken care of naturally, promptly and with the utmost professionalism. The beautiful pebble beach is equipped with every comfort you could possibly need, and the staff are always present, attentive and genuinely willing to accommodate any request. We also enjoyed the Spa, where we found the staff to be highly skilled and professional. All the common areas throughout the resort are impeccably clean and, despite visiting in August, we never once had the feeling that the hotel was crowded. Getting around the resort is effortless thanks to the golf carts driven by staff and available 24 hours a day. The gardens are truly magnificent, filled with an incredible variety of beautiful trees and plants that immerse you in authentic Mediterranean nature. Everything is perfectly maintained and cared for. The atmosphere in the evenings is elegant yet wonderfully relaxed, complemented by excellent, expertly prepared cocktails. There are two restaurants, both offering an excellent experience in terms of the quality of the ingredients as well as the standard of service, from breakfast through to dinner. A special mention must go to the concierge team, whose level of service is truly outstanding. They are attentive, highly professional and somehow always manage to anticipate their guests’ needs with remarkable discretion. Phaea Blue is a place where excellence can be found in every detail, and where you constantly feel looked after without the service ever becoming intrusive. Highly recommended. Excellent value for money, especially considering the outstanding level of service and attention throughout the stay. A truly special place that we would return to without hesitation.

Celebrating my birthday at Phaea Blue was truly magical. From the moment I arrived, I felt completely at peace. The hotel has such a calm, intimate atmosphere that makes it easy to slow down and enjoy every moment. One of my favorite things about Phaea Blue is its exclusivity. It’s a small, cozy property that never feels busy or crowded, making the experience feel incredibly special and personal. Every corner of the hotel is beautiful, and the peaceful surroundings create the perfect setting for a relaxing escape. The staff were excellent and did everything they could to accommodate, even before I arrive. It was the ideal place to celebrate a birthday, and I’ll always look back on my stay with wonderful memories. I mean, it’s part of SLH for a reason!

We stayed here during a couple's trip and were impressed with how great it was. The breakfast spread each morning was phenomenal, every member of the staff was incredible, and we received a surprise upgrade to a beautiful room with a private pool. We also found the housekeeping to be an absolute standout. They were efficient and thorough. The Blue Door restaurant on property was also very good.
