Hard Rock Hotel Bali

Having travelled 48 hours to get to Bali, this was a familiar destination for when we arrived. The pool area with slides were awesome and the bar was great! However, the room was basic and the breakfast buffet was average at best. Glad to have only booked three nights here and move on.

Did the indulgence dinner at hard rock hotel, with Gilang as our waiter. Wonderful experience, great food and great customer service. Highly recommend.

Great atmosphere, clean environment, friendly staff. Worth every penny. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great experience in Bali.

I’m giving this hotel a 1-star rating, even though there were many positives. The staff are exceptional, the food is good, the entertainment is fantastic, and the rooms are comfortable and ideal as a base. Unfortunately, one major issue completely overshadowed the experience: the reserving of sunbeds by inconsiderate, selfish, entitled guests. Every day we struggled to find available sunbeds, only to watch families of up to 10 reserve multiple beds from around 9:30am and not return until 1pm. We raised this with the pool manager, but were told nothing could be done because the guests had left an item—such as a book or water bottle—on each bed. As a result, the advertised "no reserving sunbeds" policy is effectively meaningless. If the hotel has a policy, it needs to be enforced consistently. It was incredibly frustrating to spend part of every morning searching for somewhere to sit while so many unused beds remained "claimed" for hours. On a positive note, I’d particularly like to recognise Geday at Splash and Patra at the pool. They both provided impeccable, attentive service and genuinely cared about guests, remembering even the smallest details and consistently going above and beyond. Despite enjoying many aspects of our stay and appreciating the wonderful staff, the ongoing sunbed issue significantly impacted our holiday. Until the hotel addresses and properly manages this, I’m not sure we would choose to return.

At 5pm the room was still not cleaned even after complaining at reception a few times, the toilets also was jammed and unhygienic
