Hard Rock Hotel Bali

A revisit to an old friend after 20 years. The hotel has been refreshed . Rooms are simply furnished and comfortable. I was in the Royal wing so we had a quiet breakfast with enough western and local choices. Unfortunately it was a short overnight stay so I couldn’t return to the large swimming pool which I had a glance at. Service was great - they arranged my transfers and it brought back good memories.

We have just spent a fantastic 11 days at this amazing hotel. Staff really can not be more helpful. We would definitely recommend it and return .

Great family resort for our first time to Bali. Two children 7yr & 5yrs. We had the Rock Royalty package. Loved all the extra it included. Definitely no shortage of activities. We stayed 6 days and was just enough to spread out all the inclusions well. Spa massages were amazing- had 3! Sunset private dinner made us feel so fancy! Our waiter Gilang was perfection. Loved the ease of walking out the side entrance to access the convenience stores. Had a pool side room next to the chill out pool and loved it. So great to be able to just walk out and be there- also great for quick toilet runs. Would stay again ❤️

Great family hotel, with plenty of facilities and activities for the kids. Highly recommend upgrading to the quiet pool rooms, to give you some time out. Breakfast had lots of variety and location was ok for eating and shops, although you had to walk a bit for a good bit of beach. Staff were welcoming and friendly at all times and always happy to help out. If you want to book a cabana do very early as they book out at peak times, weeks in advance. Well priced food and beverage for a resort. Rooms clean and tidy, albeit a little tired. Could do with some rooms with deck areas.

August 2026 was our fourth stay over 8 years as a family of 4 at Hard Rock Bali. Each time I tell myself I need to post a review because of how much we all enjoy it, and each time I don't get around to it. Until this time. From the pools and slides, the rooms, the kids club (less so now kids are older, 11 and 12 last trip) and most importantly the staff, Hard Rock Hotel has delivered us a 5 star experience each time. We do stay in the rock royalty area, normally in a family suite if its available, which offers a nice quieter retreat from the main area. It is also nice having the afternoon tea and complimentary drinks happy hour each day. Location is good right on Kuta beach, a day surfing now also part of the family tradition. Walking distance to Water Bom also a plus. Kids amenities great; the younger kids water area had only just reopened after refurb on our first trip in 2018 and was awesome for the times kids were of suitable age to enjoy. The water slides and the massive pool in the main swimming area also offering plenty of fun and energy. Kids club was a lifesaver to give parents a break when needed, offering plenty of stimulating activities. The staff really make the stay go from good to great though, from Ratna who welcomed us on our first trip in 2018 (whose name I wrote down to do a shout out on the review I never got around to posting back then), to other Rock Royalty familiar and welcoming faces Daisy, Adi and our fave Doni, and the whole kids club crew, all have been super friendly, helpful and genuinely kind. Loads of fantastic memories at Hard Rock Bali. Thoroughly recommended for a family stay.
