Hard Rock Hotel Bali

From the moment we stepped foot out of the car, we were greeted with the friendliest faces. Checkin was easy enough, our luggage was handled nicely. The general atmosphere was inviting...smelt good, family friendly, nice and cool. Our room was absolutely incredible! Spacious, clean, always well stocked and even though the hotel had loud events on at night and there were families staying all around us...we didn't hear a thing in our room! Room service was just as fresh as if you went to the restaurant for food so that's a huge plus when you're tired at the end of the day. Dewa was our housekeeper guy and he was AMAZING 🤩 such a sweetheart. The breakfast buffet was also delicious, very inclusive and well stocked no matter what time we went down. It was my brothers birthday and my daughter's 18th on the trip and both of them were treated like stars on their big days 😍😍 they had an ATM that exchanged into idr, they also had an exchange service at reception. Location was right in the midst of everything but you wouldn't know once you entered the grounds. Beautiful view of the beach though! Short walk to the big centres for shopping or lots of little shops for snacks etc. Would absolutely recommend Lulu at the spa for a massage and if you want to spend a day at the hotel pools...hire a cabana for the day! Amazing value, super clean, good to relax in the heat without the sun and way better having somewhere to store everything while you swim. Checkout was very quick and efficient...would definitely stay there again with or without kids because it's worth every cent!!!

i went to bali for a 2 week holiday and was so excited to stay at the hard rock hotel as i have stayed in one before and was looking forward to this holiday. pick up at airport was ok when we finally found our tui rep. travel wise was not to bad to the hotel about 30 mins to and hour max. arrived at hotel seen the iconic statue of the hard rock and was greeted by lovely staff that helped us and collected our bags and wheeled them to the reception area. checking in was great lovely staff member who sorted everything out and explained a few things then we had to wait for our room to be ready so wee went to the shop and got snacks. room was finally ready and we got in unpacked then headed to the pool the pool area is great and massive and personally expected an adults area only but sadly not. we had asked about 3-4 times for some ice for our water we brought with us and it taken ages for it to arrive but seen others where getting there stuff even tho they ordered after us. apart from that everything is fine. one little change id recommend is for the shower floor area when dry its fine but when wet its very slippy i my self was on a crutch and had to lay a towel down each time as it was the only thing that was stopping me from slipping. dinner time the all you can eat buffet personally was the biggest let down of the hotel there was so much empty unused space in the buffet area and food choice was very limited it would have been a fussy plan food eaters nightmare. the whole 2 weeks of being there i seen chips once. according the the pictures that are displayed online they had an abundace of choice but this was not the case. in the middle island that had food it was only holding 8 items but there was the free space inbetween it for more pizza when it was on you were not allowed to lift it they had to do it for you and it was only a one flavour choice. ice cream same thing 3 flavours but they had to scoope it for you. lastly every night was a themed night but when attending it was pretty much the same thing i ended up easting pasta all the time. need to open up the free space add chips and plan foods for fussy eaters/ plan eaters. add more pizza options thats under a heat lamp and people can just help them selfs to. the food was a let down in the in the buffet are. breakfast there was fine and had decent options. overall the staff were very lovely kind and helped when asked for things. the cleaners that clean the rooms do an amazing job one even went out of his way and towel animals which we ended up leaving at the side and made a collection which was nice. id give it a 8/10 just i think the buffet area for dinner could be alot better personally.

Amazing hotel and locations. Facilities was well maintained. Living up to the hype of HARD ROCK. Guest Relations staff Jessica was awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable. Much praises to her!

I am truly with my family. The service provided by the hotel staff is very satisfying. They are always ready to help and provide solutions for all my needs. The hotel facilities are also very complete, including a large swimming pool with many fun programs, a fitness center, and a spa.

My recent stay at Hard Rock Hotel Bali had many positive aspects, but unfortunately there were also some disappointing areas that I feel should be addressed. On arrival, the staff were exceptional — welcoming, polite, and consistently professional. Every member of staff made a genuine effort to ensure guests felt valued and comfortable, often going above and beyond throughout our stay. Their customer service is a real credit to the hotel. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well maintained. One point worth mentioning, however, is that rooms located near reception can be quite noisy in the evenings due to loud bass from the music starting around 9pm. Guests who are light sleepers may find this disruptive. The pool area is excellent, with a large pool, plenty of sunbeds, and the option to hire private cabanas for a more relaxing experience. Poolside service was also very good, with staff regularly attending to guests with food and drink menus throughout the day. The main disappointment during our stay was the food, particularly as we booked on a half-board basis. Although breakfast offered a wide variety of options, the hot food was frequently only lukewarm or cold. Unfortunately, the same issue applied to the evening meals. The hotel operates themed buffet nights, but there are no alternative dining options available within the package if the theme does not appeal to you. In my opinion, guests should have the flexibility to opt out of the themed menu and choose from a wider selection of dishes. The children’s food selection was also very limited, with only a couple of options available, while the adult buffet choices were similarly restricted. Considering the hotel caters heavily towards families, the dining experience felt underwhelming and did not meet the overall standard of the resort itself. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel for families looking to relax, enjoy the pool facilities, and take part in the activities organised by the staff. However, the food quality, temperature, and variety were a significant disappointment and could be greatly improved to better reflect the standards expected of a 5-star hotel.
