Sthala, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Ubud Bali

The property is beautiful, staff is very helpful they make the experience more comfortable

Stayed in the corner room with beautiful river and panorama pool view. We were offered an upgrade to family room but since no balcony, we did not take it.There is nothing much to do outside of the hotel but the free shuttle to city centre is very convenient to hop out for anything. The breakfast is average. There are lots of nice activities offered by the hotel, we went for the village walk which was really very interesting. The biggest positive is the entire staff which truly go beyond their duty in ensuring that all guests have a comfortable stay. Saw the staff walking over to every table during breakfast and making sure all needs are catered to. Special shoutout to Vika who spoke to us every morning and proactively asked for feedback and suggestions on breakfast. She was really very sweet in getting special local dishes prepared for us to try. It made our stay truly special. We have visited Bali multiple times and always stayed at Nusa Dua. This location is good to explore other areas of Bali. The rooftop bar gives beautiful sunset view and has amazing happy hour deals you can sip on the cute swings at the bar.

I LOVE Sthala: The staff- Tya, Mesya, Bima, Hanni, Dewa, Raina; beautiful people, always willing to help. They help and serve with joy. The hospitality was joyful from the day I entered the hotel grounds. They are the spirit of Bali. The food was great, I recommend the Beef stroganoff, the fish and any local meal. My room was impeccable, there’s nothing I would change. The grounds were clean as well as the rooms. I have nothing to complain about. To Bali and the staff at Sthala, every cook, cleaner, grounds keeper; thank you. I will come back. -Jennifer
