Perfect, The hotel was well kept and the staff could not be more helpful. Especially as having celiac disease the information was clear and very helpful.

Honest review it's a long one... Arrived back in "sunny" UK this morning and im always give a honest review. We went to this hotel 10 years ago and always said we would go back, this time with 2 extras in tow. The hotel hasn't changed in the 10 years. The pools are always so clean and kept clean, sun beds are easy to get (and yes they do remove towels if people dont use them!). We stayed at the activity pool and there is always alot of activity around there, water polo, magic carpet, water volley, normal volleyball, football, darts, bowls just to make a few! Disappointing thing was the pool didn't "open" until 10am which was late in my opinion when you've got 2 childrend desperate to go in - you could go in the pool but no lifeguard on duty until then so it's at your own risk. The snack bar by the pool has a good selection of drinks and goes by a token rule, you take tokens in at the start of the day and when you take your cups back youcan refill until youve had enough you get tokens back ready for the next day. The food was okay - its a snack bar - hotdogs, burgers, chips, paella, icecreams. This snack bar doubles as an Italian at night which is okay enough , pasta & pizza. The main restaurant we had no issue with at breakfast, always something to eat and plenty of tables available. The staff are friendly and quick at clearing plates. The evening however we found disappointing. It just seems to be the same three meals repeated on each side of the main area and then the middle is usually a centre piece meat - leg of lamb, leg of pork (which were absolutely delicious!). The theme nights weren't that special and it seemed to be the same theme nights in a row at one point. It just felt like they could have offered that little bit more. Plenty of salad to offer, the soups were always really good, puddings were very same every night and ice cream was always busy. We didn't but the town isn't a far walk and there's a whole range of places to eat at good prices. Our room was 5117 and air con - when on turned our room into an ice rink it worked that well. The room - minus the odd day- was always clean and new towels every day. We had one issue with cleaners not coming but we reported and they soon came out and sorted out toilet rolls and towels. Kids club was used by our two and the girls who ran it were absolutely fantastic. They were so lovely and so enthusiastic our girls were always wanting to go. The kids disco ran in the theatre most nights and thats as far as the night entertainment went. We saw one show otherwise it was singers or karaoke which our kids weren't interested in which is a shame as they have this great stage space they could really use to potential! If you want an easy holiday it's recommended.

Great hotel, great food, lovely pools and would highly recommend. The place is clean and tidy, plenty of restaurants with a wide variety of food and drinks to choose from. There's plenty to do for the kids including a football area, pool table and games area and great entertainment all day. The beach is less than a 5-minute walk too!

We just got back from an amazing two weeks here. We all enjoyed, especially the children. Before we arrived I emailed to ask for a ground floor suite and if they can get the room ready for us as we will arrive earlier than check in. The did it all and we was so grateful for that. We had a ground floor suite, one bedroom, room number 1110. It was the last apartment in a quiet corner and we ended up having all the extra side garden space to ourselves with was lovely. The room was cleaned everyday by the lovely Alendia (mimi) we had perfect air con although we didn’t need to use it often as the room was quite shaded. We had no cockroaches/insects or mosquitoes. We was mainly chilling in the young kids pool side, so we didn’t have an issue with loungers. My eldest who’s 12 loved the pool by the gym and her and my husband would go often there to swim. My husband played basketball often and volleyball everyone really enjoyed. The ladies at Kids club were amazing and although my youngest was under 4 they included him in everything with a parent there and they just adored him. He loved the disco!! He enjoyed cooking too! They are truly missed. The main buffet was my go too, sometimes the food was a little random, but can make a meal out of it, so was good. The kids enjoyed it too. Kepa the server there was so sweet he had great personality. Fresco restaurant was ok too, I loved going there for the pastry’s and ice cream! My husband loved Fresco as he love pizza, burgers and hotdogs for lunch 😅 Popcorn beach is walking distance, a lovely beach. We went to Playa Grande beach a few times as I prefer golden sand beaches 😊 we went to the market on Sunday and it was wonderful so many lovely things to buy. We had great time and I am glad we came to Alua Suites, we have made some fantastic memories here.

This is a terrific hotel. We have been several times before with our kids. The hotel complex is spread out over a large area with several pools for different age people. The rooms are only two story high which is great with no high rise buildings to contend with. The rooms are cleaned daily and offer what you need while you stay. The staff are great and there are people constantly ensuring the place is clean and tidy as some guests think it is OK to leave there rubbish where they choose. Food is great and widely varied. Lovely place.
