Hotel LIVVO Lago Taurito

Not the best experience very poor room hygiene even though I’d spoken reception about issues none were resolved during my stay restaurant food very poor choices and repeated every couple days entertainment very poor overall you get what you pay for

The hotel is basic but our room was cleaned everyday . The restaurant was good , always a choice , hot and different meals lunch and evening . The only thing bad about the resultant was other guests eating like pigs and then just walking away leaving the poor staff to clean up their mess. The same around the pool bar it was only a mess because the guests couldn't be bothered to walk to the bins 10 steps away to put their rubbish in. We didn't go I the bar at night instead went to the bars on the beach which were lovely. . If you are expecting a 5 star hotel for 3 star cost then you will be disappointed but for the money we paid it was very good. Recommend catching the bus to Port a Morgan

Brilliant all round, from food to staff. The included water park wasn't for us as it's sea water but most are, very clean, great variety of food and the staff are always on top form, if I'd criticise anything it's the door cards, always needing to reset them but it takes seconds really. We read bad reviews and have no idea what they were on about, I decided I'd back up our good experience with pictures to bust the bad reviews.

hotel is more like a 2 star see list of faults and issues we had 1 air con does not work in all rooms my room was 25 degress all week tried 4 times to fix 2 furniture all damaged 3 broken lights 4 mold in bathrooms 5 shower grill loose 6 this was a family room so extra bed put in the room this that meant the sharp light fitting is just above your pillow dangerous also meant light switches where now behind the pillows 7 blood on walls 8 step at entrance could not get wheelchair in 9 no emergency equipment for disabled to get down stairs in event of a fire 10 emergency lights not working in corridors 11 on first floor emergcy exit door was broken so they had a padlock on it . room 2 was the same apart from a couple of things 1 air con worked great 2 marble fell off bathroom sing would have broke foot 3 snot on wall 4 no lock on bathroom food was bland ended up eating out 5 times out of 7 stay away from this hotel when spoke to reception they admitted how poor the hotel was and how it need a refurb not a good hotel the others around it are fine this one is just really bad

Could be amazing! Good Points: Room large Balcony a good size Always tables for food efficient bar service Great view and location Maintenance reacted quickly to fix a problem Water park was good, although 2 slides were not open all week. Bad Points: Food sometimes cold and a little repetitive Rooms not cleaned properly Had to ask for towels Lifts only work sometimes Pool always busy. Other guests fighting Entertainment very poor and finishes very early Poor experience of excursions(i know its not the hotel but be warned! Shop around the kiosk just outside gave us bad experience and wont communicate to us) Drinks often flat. Quite a few cockroaches in the resturaunt We would not return
