Hotel LIVVO Valle Taurito

A worrying hotel for a 3/4 star A few things I would remember when booking. No kettle in room The floor around the swimming pool and water park very hot. Also lots of stones in water park. 1 cut foot. The snack bar is awful. Think of hot dogs/ burger sitting out not at the correct temperature. A few bits of cake and a bit of salad. 1 bar for the whole hotel. No snacks before 11 or after 6. The sofa beds are horrible bend in the middle and make a sound every time you moved. You get given 1 bottle of water. For the whole stay. The bed sheets and towels have holes in them. The transfers to and from air port are horrible stop 10/11 on way and didn't make it as coach couldn't get round all the streets had to take taxi.Nearly 2 hours on way back. When was told 1. The entertainment area is awful and not enough space. Also kids club is in the hotel opposite not in valle hotel. They say the have entrainment but only saw 1 water polo game in 10days.

The location is good when you have a car. Otherwise, there is nothing to do if you don't. The staff is very sad and not very friendly. The rooms are big, but the kids sleep on a small sofa bed (despite paying full price). My child is 14 and the same height as me, and the sofa bed was too small. When I asked for a normal bed for my kid, they said no. The atmosphere in the hotel is definitely not a holiday one. Entertainment was really poor. The entertainment area is littered with rubbish and has some old wooden picnic tables. And not enough of them. Rooms are clean but tired. All the balconies in front of the hotel, so a quite chilled evening with a glass of wine is impossible, as you will have constant noise from the buses that stop by the main entrance of the hotel or from the playground and arcade opposite the hotel. The restaurant is old and tired like a school canteen. Food is horrible, bland, and repetitive; sometimes it is basically disgusting. Hospital food is 100 times better than this. Thank God I was there for only 1 week!! Worst hotel I've ever been to! The spa was dirty and old, and kids were not allowed in the spa pool.

We recently stayed at the LIVVO Valle Taurito Hotel in Gran Canaria, and overall we had a really enjoyable holiday. The hotel itself was clean, and housekeeping was excellent. Our room was cleaned every day, but if you didn’t want your room serviced you could simply let the staff know and they would leave it, which was a nice option to have. The pool area was great. There was a large main pool as well as a smaller baby pool, which was perfect for younger children. The main pool sunbeds do get reserved very early in the morning, but we never struggled to find loungers around the quieter baby pool, so it wasn’t an issue for us. The food was probably the most inconsistent part of our stay. Some days it was really nice with plenty of choice, while on other days it was a bit disappointing. If you’re travelling with very young children, you may find the options a little limited. We were there with our one-year-old daughter and 7 year old son and there were times when there wasn’t much that appealed to her or him, so it’s worth bearing that in mind. The biggest downside for us was the complete lack of baby changing facilities. For a hotel that caters so well to families, this really surprised us. There wasn’t a single baby changing station anywhere in the hotel—not even near the restaurant. Every time our daughter needed changed, I had to take her back up to our room on the sixth floor before returning downstairs, which wasn’t ideal when we were in the middle of a meal. Despite those points, we had a lovely holiday and would happily stay here again. The hotel was clean, the staff worked hard, and the facilities were good. If you’re travelling with babies or toddlers, I’d just recommend being prepared for the lack of baby changing facilities and perhaps bringing a few easy food options if your little one is a fussy eater. Overall, I’d recommend the hotel, especially if you’re looking for a good family holiday without spending a fortune.

We recently stayed at Livvo Valle Taurito Secret and had a mixed experience. The positives were that the all-inclusive drinks were self-service, which was really convenient. The views from the hotel were lovely, the rooms were perfectly decent and comfortable, and there was a good variety of food available at meal times. Having access to the water park included in the stay was also a nice bonus. Unfortunately, there were quite a few downsides. The hotel pool was quite small for the number of guests and seemed to be full at all times. The hotel is very family-oriented, so if you’re looking for a quieter, adults-focused break, this may not be the best choice. Although there was a good selection of food, it was often only lukewarm or cold. The included water park uses salt water, which wasn’t to our taste, and the sunbeds there were extremely hard unless you paid extra to hire a mattress. Around the hotel pool there was also a constant smell of sewage. Evening entertainment was difficult to enjoy because three hotels share the same entertainment area, meaning seats were almost impossible to get unless you arrived very early. Finally, the Wi-Fi was very slow and felt outdated. Overall, the hotel has some good features, particularly the views, included water park access and decent food selection. I wouldn’t return personally.

Just got back with my family , all in all we had a great time, rooms were lovely and large all will have side sea views, when you check in you tick what days you want your room to be cleaned, which I thought was a nice touch, food was nice we managed to find something to eat most days, my son who is a really fussy eater said that he couldn’t understand why the poor food reviews were on here as he found it okay, the snack bar I do agree is awful, this needs to be built somewhere else at the hotel and bigger and I’m sure then it’d have more selection, the drinks were fine never a problem getting served and usually 1 bar person on at a time, they work really hard, we got sun beds no problem if you want one by the pool then yes you do have to be up early to get one but there are plenty of others behind the pool, the pool was lovely and the water park was okay but just a shame about the salt water but we made the best of it!! NOW the inflatable situation in the hotel pool!! Depending what life guard was on that day they was not allowed in the pool but the next day a different life guard on duty and guess what he allowed them in the pool, but the best of it is,is when he goes at 5pm all the inflatables go in the pool and nothing gets said!! The entertainment is on the plaza for the 3 hotels so if you want a seat then get there early,It was the usual kids disco and a magic show etc but it was quite poor so we just used to go back to to hotel and have drinks! The Valle is the best hotel of out the 3 of them, done lovely little bars on the beach to.
