Royal Sun

3rd time staying here and already booked for next year. Staff are exceptional and have remembered me every time I’ve stayed. Guigui (GG as I can’t pronounce his name) is fantastic entertainment and takes time with all guests to make sure you have a great time. Manuel is the number 1 barman and is a wizard at cocktails. Staff, food, view, value for money it doesn’t get any better.

Was so excited for our stay at Royal Sun after seeing all the reviews and it absolutely did not disappoint! We stayed for 9 nights, family of 4 with toddlers aged 2 and 1. We arrived around 3am after a 5 hour delay in Manchester and found the fridge had been stocked with plates of meats, cheese, breads, juice which was such a welcome surprise after an insanely long travel day. We stayed on the first floor, the rooms, the views, the balcony 10/10. Clean rooms with huge balcony with sun lounger and table and chairs. Big sunshades that retract or pull out which was great with toddlers. First floor is also a great location for the restaurant. The sofa bed and travel cot were all made up ready for our little ones on arrival. The restaurant was another highlight. The staff were so welcoming & friendly every single visit and made such an effort with our boys. The food was always tasty and well cooked and there was a good selection for breakfast & dinner. Drinks were a good price. The pool area was clean and our boys loved it. We had no issues getting a sunbed even on busier afternoons Hotel is in a good location for a walk down to Los Gigantes, it’s definitely hilly & steep but we made plenty of trips to the Marina, Mercadona & Lidl with 2 push chairs with no issues. Overall we absolutely loved our stay, couldn’t fault anything. Thank you for such a wonderful time!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Another fantastic stay at Royal Sun Resort We’ve stayed at Royal Sun Resort several times now and it genuinely feels like somewhere we love coming back to. The location is absolutely stunning, with incredible views over the ocean and some of the most beautiful sunsets you could ask for, but what really makes the Royal Sun special for us is the staff. Everyone is always so friendly, welcoming and attentive, and you really feel that they want you to enjoy your stay. A special mention has to go to Guillaume from the entertainment team, who is absolutely brilliant. He always makes the effort to speak to everyone, gets people involved and brings such a friendly, fun atmosphere to the resort. He’s a real credit to the hotel and one of those people who genuinely adds something to your holiday. We also have to mention Manu at the Imperial Bar. Not only is he incredibly friendly and attentive, but he makes the most fantastic cocktails! Sitting with a cocktail in the evening, looking out over the ocean and watching the sunset has become one of our favourite parts of staying here. It’s the combination of the amazing location, those spectacular views and sunsets, and most importantly the wonderful people who work here that keeps bringing us back. We enjoyed our August stay so much that we’ve already booked to return again in October — which probably says everything! Thank you to everyone at Royal Sun for another fantastic holiday. Stayed here with my family for 10 nights, cannot fault a single thing with the hotel, location etc Amazing people and amazing hotel Food was lovely and the waiters, waitresses went above and beyond Thankyou for make our holiday perfect

I'm not even sure where to start with this review.. there's so many amazing things to talk about at this hotel, I'll try to sum it up as best as I can. This was our 3rd time back to royal sun and we've loved it there every time, but we like to go to different places and explore so every time we have said it will probably be our last for a while. Well once again we were lying to ourselves because it's our first day back today and we are already looking at going back next year. I'll start with what we thought of the overall hotel and then I'll get to what really has sold the place to us. The hotel itself is lovely, clean and tidy and very well set out. There's a lovely pool with plenty of sunbeds definitely no reason to have to get up early for towels (wed usually head down about 9.30am). Theres a nice shop on site that sells fresh bread every day and is really well priced.. The rooms/balcony's are crazy as in the first time you see them it really does blow your mind. I've included a photo or two. Our biggest thing about holidays is the people and the royal sun is full of amazing staff they are always smiling and genuine and can't do enough for you I wish I wasn't crap with names as I'd name them all personally but if any of the staff do read this, then your are amazing and thank you so much. The guys and gals that work there really have made this holiday for us! Like I say they really are the reason we will keep going back! I do have two staff I'd like to mention, one of the entertainment team (don't get me wrong they were all amazing). But Guigui was just a legend always making everyone laugh and smile.. I know I keep saying this but it's hard to put into words what impact he's and others have had.. Guigui made us feel like family! A true gentleman his language skills blow my mind to so fluently switch between so many languages just amazes me.. that much so that I intend to try and learn some Spanish for next year. Also one other mention is one of the life guards, I think his name was Steve (sorry if I've got your name wrong if you read this I struggle with my hearing). Again a true gent always smiling and wanting to help. We went on a day trip and my daughter had fallen over (nothing to do with the hotel). But the day after my daughter was complaining her knee was sore and Steve instantly ran over to the rescue.. (thank you buddy). Long review and I know I've babbled a lot but for me it's all about the staff.. thank you again all of you! and fingers crossed well see you next year..
