The resort is extensive and beautiful! At arrival we had to wait 2-hours for our room after checking in. The room was pretty but had very noisy doors (you couldn't open/close them if someone was sleeping in the room), and the toilets don't have good pressure. Also be careful with the balcony sliding glass door; they can lock easily if you are on the balcony. We were happy with how the minifridge in the room was stocked every day. We never ran out of beverages! (that was a plus) SERVICE/RESTAURNATS: the best restaurant attendant was a lady named Shana-Gay in the main restaurant "Martha's Market. She was well mannered, always remembered our preferences, and a willingness to serve. We also enjoyed the Japanese restaurant "Sakura". It was constant entertainment and delicious food. The Indian restaurant "Thali" was beautifully decorated; however, the food was basically reheated food. The beach restaurant "Snapper" had very unwelcoming service. The Jamaican Grill by the beach was AMAZING for such a simple presentation and setting. Mike's Coffee Shop was an enjoyable in between for when you needed your caffeine recharge, smoothies, or tea. They do have a small variety of cookies, cakes and sandwiches. FAMILY ACTIVITIES: The bowling alley was so much fun! Next to it there is a family room where you have the option of leaving your kids; that was a plus with an air hokey table, pool table, three TV's set up as gaming stations, a popcorn machine, and a board game table. LAZY RIVER: enjoyable but does not have a strong enough current to get the movement needed. It does also have a bar in the pool area of the Lazy River which was a good grown-up hangout. POOLS: Apart from the Lazy River pool, you have the option of the main pool where grown-ups mostly gathered. The Kid's Pool was so much fun with the slides. They stop working at 5:00pm, and grown-ups are allowed on it after 4:30pm. BEACH: The beach was only useable in the "Privilege" area. While the other section was mostly unusable due to all the rocks and algae on the bottom. We were lucky to experience beautiful beaches at Dunn's River waterfall. That compensated for what we had at the hotel. --------------------------- NOTE: Of all the places I have travelled in the Caribbean, I learned that Jamaican hotel employees are largely motivated by tipping. This is not so in the Dominican Republic or Mexico. There are several stray cats which most hotel guest seem to be aware of and come prepared with cat treats. As an animal lover, I was happy to see that there was a welcomed interaction although there are signs that say not to feed or pet them. Also, after checking in, we were approached by what seemed a "Timeshare" employee. In all honesty, that is not our vibe so it seemed annoying to be approached with such persistence. ------------------------ What I loved the most was seeing the Sunset/ Sunrise on the balcony every day! At Sunset, there are horses that swim on the beach towards there night resting place. If you get a chance to see it, make sure to make a video of it. It is quit an experience.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful property in Trelawny, and it was an absolutely seamless experience from start to finish. If you are looking for the perfect blend of modern luxury and authentic Jamaican hospitality, this is it. The staff here truly goes above and beyond to ensure every guest has a memorable stay. From the warm greeting at check-in to the attentive service poolside, everyone made me feel like a valued guest. A huge "Big Up" to Phillip Annikey, who went out of his way to make us feel extra special and truly valued throughout our stay. We also received world-class service at Martha’s Market Restaurant, thanks to Trecia and Neckalet. Special thanks to Devontae, Brittaney, Kedeem, Marcine, for their hospitality and hard work—you all made our experiences fantastic! Coral Spring is a total gem in Trelawny. I left feeling completely refreshed and I am already looking forward to my next visit! If you're heading to Jamaica, don't hesitate to book here and " Feel the ocean".
We had a great vacation. The amenities, rooms, food and overall atmosphere was enjoyable. Perfect for kids! Would definitely recommend. Special shout out to Moyan who was so accommodating when we first arrived at the hotel making sure we got to our room and all of our luggage ensuring we had everything we needed.
My experience was good pleasant entertaining and enjoyable. The food is also amazing.Authentic beautiful flavours and plenty of various varities. That caters for everyones needs/requirements. I was made to feel comfortabe,by very friendly and profesional staff team and managers.Especially to name a few such as Andre the TUI rep manager,Monique the guest relation supervisor, and Kevaughn, Peter and Dwayne on front reception,Sonya and Georgia on front desk.I appreciate the helpful and good quality service, that was available throughout.Theres plenty of activities refreshments and entertainment throughout, day and night,im a happy customer ive had a great holiday.i would highly recommend oceon carol spring to family and friends.many thanks.
It was a good overall experience.. Food was excellent even though I did not get a chance to explore all 10 restaurants but for the once I did they were great especially The Sugar Cane. The rooms were kept clean each day the only down fall is that room service would come at the time of the day when you want to relax as opposed to when you leave for breakfast in the mornings or for a swim. But the room was kept clean regardless. I had no issues with the noise level, I slept well.... The beach was a bit disappointing though, there were grass in the water and there's a swing in the water full of morass and that could have been a really cool spot to take pictures and just relax so if that could be changed that'll be good.. The property is HUGE so moving from 1 place to the next can be a bit challenging for some persons but the RESORT IS BEAUTIFUL 😍. Money was well spent and my children enjoyed every single moment of their vacation. I will definitely be back.
