Sunset at the Palms Resort Spa

This is our 6th time visiting Sunset at the Palms and we brought 6 friends with us! We had a wonderful time enjoying the beach, the cofffe bar, the garden tour and so much more. We love this place! Long walks and early runs on the beach, great lunches and drinks from the beach bar, and the coffee bar ladies are TOP NOTC H!

Coming back to the Palms each January is like coming home to friends. Damien and his crew (Javeon, Cleveon, Kevron) take great care of us on the beach. Nadine, Brittney, Sherline, Patray, and Cash make certain we were taken care of. Our servers Andre, Odine, Kashin and Shanica quickly know our preferences and are always there with a smile. Shout out also to Jadene our beach cook who made the BEST quesadilla I have EVER had in my life…she also made sure we had burgers for our furry beach babies...oh and Lunch with Betty the goat was awesome! We love you and we look forward to seeing you next January…love, MJ & Betsy.

Spent 12 days at the fabulous Sunset At the Palms. Amazing staff, fabulous location, extremely relaxing. We decided to try the cooking class on the beach with Jamaican cuisine. We were skeptical as we are not fans of curry. Kayla totally changed our mind about Jamaican curry cooking… OMG it was delicious and not spicy. Key greeting it turmeric and garlic. Thank you, thank you thank you Kayla for setting us straight. We appreciate you. We’ll be back again next year.

We stayed at SATP from Christmas Eve 2025 till January, 7th, 2026. We really enjoyed our holiday at the bungallow sorrounded by lush garden, feeling like we were in the Jamaican lungle. Sitting on the balcony in the morning hours watching and listening to all the birds, we felt a kind of magic, especially when we were repeatidly visited by humming bird. All the sounds from the "jungle" in the evening and at night created an unforgettible scenery. Our sunny days spent under the blue sky , on the beach with white sand, swimming in the warm tropical sea, listening to reggae from the beach bars, that all was so exotic and relaxing for us, that we hardly could imagine the return to our frozen land covered by tons of snow as it is these days. We appreciated the staff of the hotel, neat friendly people, who maintain the hotel to be a clean and comfortable place with tasty meals, good room service, always with smile on their faces, and willing to help. One thing should be highlighted, the New Year's Eve celebration, perfectly prepared with all the music and decorations. There were a couple of flaws, as it is always and everywhere, so let me mention it as well. Sometimes the noise from the road passing by was a bit disturbing, but no tragedy. The piano at the lobby bar should be tuned up. By the way the pianist there was a real master, we liked the way he played and sang. SATP is a calm, relaxing place for those who want to chill, and meet beautiful people in beautiful country. Thank you for everything, friends. "Ya mon, respect boss!" :-)

This was our 8th time to SATP and although they had just suffered a catastrophic hurricane, every one of their staff members was just as welcoming, helpful, and amazingly friendly as they have been in the past. The staff is top notch, the grounds are peaceful, and the beach is divine. I cannot say enough good things about this resort! Keep up the great work guys!
