I read the review from Bhavika, it seams Bhavika has a personnal interest in Bamburi hôtel where she spend time on the exact same dates as she was at the Baobab 😂, people at Baobab will give you their heart if you need it and it is perfect my clean, food is very good for a resort and no fly there, I do not recommand the « à la carte restaurant », the rest is just perfect, beds, service, some of the dish are very very good and more than enough offerings, I highly recommand the Baobab!

For a resort that claims to be 5-star, even giving it 1 star feels generous. We arrived with high expectations after hearing so many positive reviews, but unfortunately our experience was the complete opposite. From the moment we arrived, the attitude of many staff members was unwelcoming and unhelpful, with very little focus on customer service or communication. To make matters worse, all of the à la carte restaurants were closed during our stay, leaving only the buffet restaurant available. The food quality was extremely disappointing, and we were shocked to see flies around the buffet area. Cleanliness and hygiene standards did not meet what we would expect from a resort of this rating. The swimming pools were also poorly maintained, with dead bugs floating in the water, making them unappealing to use. Our room did little to improve our impression, as we discovered insects in the bed, which was completely unacceptable. Something as simple as requesting cold bottled water became an issue, as we were told the resort did not stock any. For a supposedly luxury resort, this was difficult to understand. After seeing the condition of the resort and experiencing the poor service firsthand, we made the decision not to stay even a single night and arranged alternative accommodation. The only positive aspect of this resort is its beautiful beachfront location. Beyond that, our experience was extremely disappointing and fell far short of the standards expected from a 5-star property. Sadly, we cannot recommend this resort based on our experience.

Everything is excellent: the staff are beyond belief so courteuos, warm and hospitable! The Indian Corner is delectable. All meals are great though I felt uncertain with some of the salads and vegs cause l ate a generous amount and l got bloating in my stomach. The evening entertainment with spiritual undertones of ' spirits of the south' was unsettling. The kolekole pool had high levels of chloramines

Our stay in Diani was truly wonderful and exceeded all expectations. The service throughout the resort was exceptional, especially around the pool area, where the team ensured we had a great time with fun and engaging activities. The rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and equipped with all the necessary amenities. A special thank you to our room steward, who maintained outstanding cleanliness standards and made us feel completely at home throughout our stay. The reception team was always attentive, friendly, and ready to assist whenever we needed anything. Special appreciation goes to Naomi, Phelly at the front desk, and Mr. Bett for efficiently organizing our transport arrangements. The food selection was excellent, offering a wide variety of options to suit different tastes, nationalities, and dietary preferences. It was also very family-friendly, with plenty of choices for children. The restaurant's décor and ambience were stunning, creating a warm and enjoyable dining experience. The Jambo Team deserves special recognition for their enthusiasm, friendliness, and engaging hospitality, which made our stay even more memorable. We had an amazing experience and cannot wait to return, this time with our parents and family friends. Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
