Diani Sea Lodge

Me and my friend were staying at Diani Sea Lodge for a relaxing girls trip and the hotel was everthing we hoped for! It was so beautiful! Nice rooms, close to the sea, a nice pool, good food. The staff was also really friendly and were very welcoming and helpful. Especially the animation team, which stood for activities were really nice and made a difference for our trip. Especially Ida, Britney and Sebastian made our vacation even better. We Can only recommend this place and we would definitly come back another time!

We had a wonderful stay at Diani Sea Lodge. Every single staff member is so sweet and helpful at all times. The whole hotel area is always kept super clean and tidy and is a beautiful place to relax at, plus the beach at Diani Sea Lodge is the very best. An additional great experience was getting to see all kinds of monkeys that kind of co-live with you in the hotel ;). Special thanks goes to the Animation-Team, especially my favorite Ida, who always kept us entertained with aqua fitness and more. Also wanted to thank the kitchen staff, the kind and welcoming cook Esha and also Yusuf, Paul and Ali who were also very nice. We also thank all of the waiters, especially Omar for being a very attentive waiter. Definitely recommend and hoping to come back one day!

The location of this resort is right on the beach with a beautiful view. The property is quite clean and the rooms very comfortable. If you are looking for a quiet beach stop, this is not for you. It is often loud, with lots of activity and would be great for families and people looking for a busy itinerary. The staff is fairly accommodating, but this seems forced. They also cater to German guests and this is quite obvious. Although, I expected to be bothered by vendors on the beach, it was the fairly consistent questions from tuktuk drivers and even someone at a hotel store that were the worst. "Where's your poppy" was a common question and inquiring about my age. When people are associated with the hotel, this should be strongly discouraged. The food could also improve - it was quite lackluster. I didn't understand the "ribbon" you have to wear on your wrist - pretty annoying. I would prefer a more intimate and peaceful experience and would not choose this resort again for that reason.

Very good hotel with friendly staff. All inclusive. Spacious rooms and very clean . The food was so yummy. Beautiful beach view. This was our second time in Kenya and we highly recommend this resort 5/5. Great entertainments everyday. See you soon

This hotel is a gem. My first visit here in 2021 was great and I enjoyed every minute of it but coming back two more times and finding way better standards blew my mind! I love every aspect of the property itself, location, the team as well, goodness! Rooms: This is one of the few properties that remains truly quiet and restful. Most of their rooms are in the gardens with some (bahari view rooms) facing the sea, but I love their layout because the rooms remain absolutely quiet even when there's evening entertainment near the pool area. Bonus points for bird spotting on your veranda in the evenings with a nice cup of coffee. The housekeeping team are great as well, the speed of room cleaning was insane because I was out for an hour only when it rained heavily and came back to our rooms being spotless and completely ready for us. Meals: I think it only offers all inclusive options which is brilliant. Every trip has had a different mix of people that I have gone with and you can tell they take care to learn who they're looking after. I have diet restrictions, and asked one of the chefs at dinner about an alternative on my first night, and he remembered and every time he saw me during meals, would let me know what was safe for me to eat which felt so thoughtful and caring and let me enjoy my meals with no qualms because I felt that they kept this in mind for everyone. There were clearly designated vegan, vegetarian and gluten free spaces during all mealtimes. Absolutely have pizza and the tropical salad at the snack bar OMG you'll love it. The beach: For the first time in a long time I didn't struggle for a lounger. They have soooooooo many, I actually wondered how they had that many guests! And I love that they're light and very easy to move. Wake up extra early to find the beachfront ones under the umbrella shade though. Plus there's no disturbance from beach vendors when you're on the property, and we also weren't bothered when we went onto the beach itself. My biggest thing though, was their work towards sustainability. Every room gets reusable water bottles, and the whole hotel has phased out single use plastic beverage bottles which considering the weather, is awesome and something I love on a personal level. Kudos to the GM, and special mention to Obadiah who was a rockstar during our stay :)
