Southern Palms Beach Resort

This place was recommended to me by four people. I think it has changed quite a bit since they went. There is nothing wrong. The rooms are fine but not excellent. The pools are good and the hotel is kept very clean. The service was satisfactory. Our guest relations manager was Joel and we saw him on the first day and hardly ever since so I wasn’t impressed with that. There is no Wow factor at this hotel. The beach is lovely. The food was very repetitive out of the six nights that we were there they served the same chicken curry on four of those days. The other two days the chicken curry was much nicer.! There was lots of family groups and I would return to this place in a group of families as it provides a good social atmosphere. However, as all inclusive hotels go I’ve been to far better. The all-inclusive Service ends as soon as you check out, but we had to stay at the hotel for three or four hours after we checked out due to the timings of our flight. Everything then is chargeable other than water. We had lunch in the buffet and the manager hawked around us the whole time to ensure that I would accept the bill to pay. Of course I had no issues with paying, but I felt they treated us in an unpleasant way.

My experience was fantastic and lovely. I met one Elphas Onyino who is very friendly and welcoming, actually He is a 5 ⭐ and Sarah too at the reception. I will definitely be back soon!

Great rooms, perfect ambience....kids enjoyed to the max and felt like i was in heaven......

Location was perfect! Atmosphere was gorgeous. The rooms were clean and the service was wonderful. The staff were friendly, professional and made my stay an awesome experience during my vacation. Shout out to Elisha… Hope I spelled that right. Drinks were on point and his professionalism was something I wish I could bottle and take to every place I vacation at. Also shout out to the entertainment crew especially Elvis and Mishe…. They actually got me to engage in activities that I made my mind up that I was not going to go. Also seeing them engage with the families was awesome and encouraging. Elvis did an awesome job as I watched him calm a crying child and turn the child’s frown into a smile. Again there were many servers and I can’t name them all BUT the service was out of this world from the entire staff. Grounds, security, housekeeping, just everyone… it felt like home. Thank you.

We had a great experience from start to finish , the staff was kind , always helpful and handled everything we tabled to them with care ;cant still have enough of the buffet so assorted. SPBR WE WILL COME AGAIN.
