Southern Palms Beach Resort

The hotel is great. Nice location, nice rooms and pool area. Everything is clean, and the staff is very helpful. If I have one suggestion to improve the stay, it’s that there is a bit too much Indian food for Scandinavian palates.

The beach is awesome. The white sands make it absolutely worth it. When we had gone, there was an Indian wedding, so it was extremely loud, but we did enjoy seeing the Sangeet Kendra. Food is very, very mediocre, but it is very good for Indians. We really did enjoy the evening high tea, which was better than their lunch, dinner, or breakfast. They have live, hot-fried Indian pakoras, bhajis, and popcorns. The kid enjoyed it a lot. The rooms are pathetic, extremely rundown, very, very bad. There is not a single room I can recommend. In fact, I was speaking to other guests at the resort, and all of them are complaining of the same problem: the rooms are really, really bad. It was smelling extremely bad of old sea water. It was raining when we were staying at the resort, and they didn't have proper umbrellas to support us to travel within the resort. The pool is huge, and we really did enjoy the pool. However, the rest of the resort also was full of flooded water because of the rains, and it was pretty much a swimming pool everywhere. The kids' area is in a very remote, shady, dingy location. We weren't comfortable leaving our kids over there at all. Overall, me giving a 3-star rating itself for our experience is being generous, to be very, very honest.

The hotel made a great impression on us. But it was Picasso who stole our hearts, carving works of art from watermelon. Hats off to you!

I loved the customer service , everyone was so kind to me , the guest relations officer Elphas, ensured I was well taken care of . As a first time solo traveller, I enjoyed the resort, beautiful facilities…10/10 experience highly recommend

Your warmth, kindness, generosity, and genuine care made our experience so much more than a vacation. It was the little gestures, the smiles, the conversations, and the thoughtful moments that made us feel truly at home. You were the heart and soul of our Southern Palms experience, and you will always be part of the memories we take home with us.
