Southern Palms Beach Resort

We had a great time at Southern Palms Beach Resort. It is a place to stay in Kenya. Some hotels just give you a place to sleep.. Southern Palms Beach Resort is different. It is a place where you can make memories that you will always remember. When we got to the resort everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The whole place is beautiful with gardens and great food. It feels very relaxed and comfortable.. What really makes Southern Palms Beach Resort special is the people who work there. The people at Southern Palms Beach Resort are very kind and caring. They make you feel like you are part of the family. Every time we talked to someone they were very nice and helpful. I want to say thank you to some of the people who made our stay so great. There is Roselyne, Clara, Teresia, Christine, Defence, David, Mwanajuma, Salim and the whole housekeeping team. Then there is Sara and the Front Office team and also Marshal, Frederick, Felix, Stella, Dominic, Nusra and Zubeidah. They all did a job of making us feel welcome. I especially want to thank Mercie. She is a person who always makes sure that the guests are happy. She is very good at her job. Makes Southern Palms Beach Resort feel like home. I also want to thank Chef Musa. He is a cook and makes very tasty food. Every meal was a pleasure to eat. Thank you to Philippe and everyone at Southern Palms Beach Resort. You have created a special place. Your team is very professional and caring. They make sure that everyone has a GREAT time. As someone who travels a lot in Africa with Africanaut Travels I highly recommend Southern Palms Beach Resort. It is a place to stay if you want to experience the real Kenya. The people at Southern Palms Beach Resort always say that long as the sun is shining the smiles never stop at Southern Palms Beach Resort. This is very true. Thank you for a stay. Unforgettable beachfront getaway at Southern Palms Resort. My vacation at Southern Palms Beach Resort.The location right on the white sands of Diani Beach is stunning.I loved the massive freeform swimming pools that wind through the tropical gardens,they are easily some of the best pools I've ever experienced.What i loved, the Rooms: my room was bright, clean, spacious, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver in the coastal heat.The Food & Drinks: the all-inclusive experience was top-notch. The buffet variety was excellent.The Service: The staff and animation team went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and keep the energy lively.In addition the staff in Southern Palms Resort are friendly and welcoming.From the security staff,front desk team,waitress,Bar attendants,Animators,chefs.....Madam Mercy the guest relation officer was so welcoming, Not to forget the front desk team Miss Daisy and her co-worker who made my stay incredible.When i say the service was great; is the front desk Miss Daisy who easily accomodated my late check out request,1 hour late check out.Tip for future travelers: Keep your balcony doors shut so the local monkeys don't wander in looking for snacks.I would absolutely return here in a heartbeat.

The resort was beautiful and tons of helpful staff everywhere. Special shoutout to the included kids club for caring for my 4 and 5 year old girls. Aunty Zubeda and Beatrice were so awesome And you could tell they loved the kids. The Animators ken ,bill,juma and Self were great too. Only issues is in Kenya the pools all close at 6 pm and dinner does not start until 7. Wish they would open it later like in the US

Terrible customer service. I' ve come here twice now. The check out process is Terrible and the staff become rude

I spent 11 days at the resort and was thoroughly impressed by the customer service, attentiveness, cleanliness, and overall resort performance. In particular, there were several people that went above and beyond to include Sabina and Catherine in the dining hall; bartender Paul and multiple other drink servers; and managers Mercer and Defence. I was also impressed with the Spa, in so much I had four spa services. Although the spa is somewhat small for a resort this size, that didn’t take away from the professionalism and expert services demonstrated by Berniece (I believe that’s her name) and Vivian. A major observation I have is that I strongly encourage management to have hand sanitizer accessible for employees and guest throughout the resort specifically in the dining hall, and where food is served for obvious hygienic reasons
