Voyager Beach Resort

We recently stayed at Voyager Beach Resort Nyali and overall had a lovely experience. The resort itself is beautiful, with stunning surroundings, a relaxing atmosphere, and friendly, hardworking staff who made us feel welcome. However, there are a few areas where communication could be significantly improved. Firstly, we were given towel cards to use when collecting pool towels, but no one explained that these cards needed to be collected again after returning the towels and kept until check-out. This important information was never communicated to us, and a simple explanation at check-in would have avoided any confusion. Secondly, I had arranged a birthday cake in advance to celebrate my mum's 80th birthday and my sister's birthday, as they share the same special day. On the evening of the celebration, I went to the restaurant to check on the arrangement and was informed that the cake would be brought out at 8:30 p.m. I requested if it could be served a little earlier, around 8:00 p.m., because my mum was elderly and understandably tired after a long day, but I was told this wasn't possible. When 8:30 p.m. arrived, I was then told they needed another 15 minutes to prepare the cake, which was disappointing considering it had already been booked in advance. Unfortunately, my mum was too tired to wait any longer, so we returned to our room without celebrating her special milestone. The following morning, I spoke to the supervisor about what had happened. I was told the cake would instead be brought out during breakfast as a way to make up for the missed celebration. Sadly, even that never happened. No cake was presented, and no one followed up with us. For such an important occasion—my mum's 80th birthday—this was deeply disappointing. It's truly unfortunate because Voyager Beach Resort is a beautiful property with wonderful staff. However, there appears to be a significant gap in communication and coordination between departments. Special occasions are memorable moments for guests, and when commitments are made, they should be honoured or, at the very least, communicated clearly if circumstances change. I genuinely hope this feedback is taken constructively. We enjoyed many aspects of our stay, and with better communication and follow-through, the guest experience would truly reflect the beauty and quality of this wonderful resort.

Location is amazing close to hallar park where u can feed the animals also amazing view for the ocean atmosphere was perfect everyone is so kind here and if u dont like cigarettes no one from staff smokes and u have 3 different smoking zones rooms are small but clean the bathroom doors were hard to close and open everywhere. Theres a lot of kids but as autistic person whos very sensitive for loud noises noise level was okay for me. I really loved atmosphere here the food the culture is amazing and fascinating

The kind lady was serving pasta was very welcoming and made waiting for the pasta an enjoyable experience.

The pasta lady was nice and the bar is nice and calm

The reception desk people pulled my daughter out of the All inclusive line and threatened to cut off her entrance band which made her cry because they assumed we were another white family that didn’t pay for the All inclusive package. When all was cleared up, they didn’t even say sorry. And our bathroom stunk like bad sewage. Not happy at all
