Voyager Beach Resort

I had misplaced personal items that I had bought within the hotel gift shop and I was a bit frustrated after realising the items were not in my room. I decided to call the main reception and was advised to check with lost and found desk but could not get. The security assured me that I will the items. I also went to check if I had left the items in the shop but no. Interestingly ,the shop attendant was so nice,when I went to replace the replaced the items,he said he would not charge me twice since he was sure I would get the lost items and return it to the shop and keep the replacement. I am happy to report that I got the lost items,and returned the replacement he had given me. I was like,wow,you mean there are such safe placed? I lost,I found! I remain a Voyager!

Hey guys. We came here after the flight disruptions and were so disoriented. Thank God your team gave us a warm welcome even with last minute bookings. We had a fantastic experience. From the rooms, food, pool, beach, staff. Fantastic. Shout out to Kennedy, Edward, Dennis for great hospitality. Blessings.

We had a fab week at Voyager Beach Resort and really couldn’t fault the welcome we received. All of the staff were friendly, helpful and welcoming, and it was the people who really made our holiday so special. We had a garden room which was spacious enough for all four of us and was kept lovely and clean and tidy by our cleaner, Hartwel. He did a fantastic job — which was a minor miracle with two kids! The kids’ team were a real highlight of the holiday. They do such a brilliant job of making the kids’ holiday special and keeping them busy with a huge variety of activities. Our two kids, aged 10 and 8, loved hanging out with the kids’ team so much that they would regularly beg to spend the whole day playing with them! A huge thank you to Deidre, Betty, Melissa and Francis, who really made their holiday. The kids absolutely loved spending time with you all and were genuinely sad to say goodbye. The evening shows were brilliant too, and you can really see how much time and effort the team put into them. Our kids particularly enjoyed hanging out with some of the animation team and even getting involved in some acrobatics with them. We tried the buffet restaurant, snack bar, Italian restaurant and fish restaurant during our stay and enjoyed them all. There was a good variety of food in the buffet, with plenty to keep the kids happy — especially the pancakes and waffles every morning! Ben deserves a special mention too. He was really helpful in organising restaurant tables for us, but also regularly checked in to see if we needed anything and made sure we were having a great holiday. Nothing seemed too much trouble. And then there was the pool bar! Margaret and the fantastic, bombastic Zablon kept us very well watered throughout the week. 😂 They were both brilliant, always smiling and so friendly. We needed to pop into town to replace some lost swim gear and get some cash out, and the hotel arranged a taxi driver for us who was happy to wait while we got what we needed and then take us back to the hotel. It made the whole trip incredibly easy. We paid to do the snorkelling trip from the hotel, which took a few hours. The team looked after the kids brilliantly and made sure they were safe and well looked after in the water. We also paid for the kids to try scuba diving in the pool, which was a great way for them to have a go and see if it was something they might enjoy. Overall, we had a fantastic family holiday at Voyager. The food, activities, entertainment and facilities were all great, but it was the staff who really made the holiday for us. Everyone was so warm and friendly, and our kids had an absolute ball. A huge thank you to everyone who made our week so special. We’d definitely recommend Voyager to other families looking for a fun, relaxed and welcoming holiday in Mombasa.
