Filitheyo Island Resort

We have loved it. Food: varied and excellent. Staff everywhere very helpful and polite. Abdullah the shark tamer in the restaurant so helpful and kind. We learnt to scuba dive on the Open Padi course: top quality teaching from Rai. Also loved snorkeling on the house reef. Spa treatments excellent. We plan to come back. Top tips: bring mosquito repellent/use the mosquito nets provided at night. Snorkel with a T shirt!

Lush jungle, white sandy beaches, house reef It is a beautiful island. Laid back accommodation, nice outdoor bathrooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff. Feedback for management: 1) is it really necessary to having to log on to internet dozen times a day? It is an island and given that unlimited data is cheap, i really don’t understand the need for this. 2) Employ more gardeners to take care of the walkways and the beach. I saw quite a few plastic bottles 3) if the hotel is not busy, may be upgrade guests. It does not cost you anything but would guests feel more valued 4) offer free yoga mats for use I love the Maledives but this place felt very commercial- everything has a price tag- from snorchel equipment to drinks etc- even on an all inclusive basis

Amazing view of the sea with crystal clear light green to deep sea blue, very friendly staff, food is fantastic. We spent 6 nights here, the night fishing trip is a must go.

Kind and helpful staff. The rooms are quit big and clean, the whole island is like you are in a dream. The reef is number one, amazing who many fish we colud see there.
