NH Collection Maldives Havodda Resort

we were literally impressed by everything that the island resort provided: the water villa, the every day cleaning service, the food (especially Maldivian kitchen!!), the bar, the water sports offering (Thanks Joel!), the Reef, and especially the team members who did a phenomenal job every day. It is impressive how you guys serve every day the best and freshest food as the island is very isolated in the south of the Maldives. we will miss you guys, and will be back one day!!

We spent 10 wonderful nights on this island, which is a little piece of paradise in the southern Gaafu Dhaalu Atoll. This was our 4th trip to the Maldives, so we already have some experience with the islands. Although the journey to get here is quite long, it is worth every single minute. The island is beautiful, and both the water and the house reef are amazing.We stayed in a Sunrise Beach Villa, which was completely comfortable and well-separated from the other villas by the lush vegetation. The open-air Maldivian bathroom is wonderful—we have enjoyed this style at other resorts before, and it never disappoints. The beach is ideal for everyone and simply beautiful.Cleanliness was absolutely perfect. A huge thank you to our room boy, Momin, for cleaning twice a day and for the lovely surprise gift he treated us to.Dining at the Reef Restaurant was also excellent, thanks to the fantastic team working there. Everything was delicious, and we always enjoyed our meals in a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. Special thanks to Kamini and Kokky, and many others whose names I could list—everyone from the service team to the kitchen staff deserves great credit!The Thari Bar also holds wonderful memories for us, as we had lunch there a few times. The guys go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. The pizza is perfect, and so is the Piña Colada.A special thank you to Kishore as well, who managed our stay and looked after our holiday perfectly.I highly recommend this island to anyone who doesn’t mind a bit of extra travel. The experience is truly breathtaking!

This resort is everything we expected and more. The friendliness of the staff is outstanding, and they go out of their way to make your stay, the best ever. We chose this resort to celebrate my special milestone Birthday, and the staff went over and above to make my day extra special, including an amazing candlelit dinner on the beach. The rooms are large and you feel at home as soon as you arrive. They are very clean and well serviced, with plenty of space to settle in. The food is amazing, and every night you get to taste all the delights of different countries. The range of food available is incredible and if that doesn’t suit, you can just ask, and they will make something just for you. A special mention to Naufal, who made our visit extra special and interesting, and to Ahad in the restuarant, who looked after us so well. Another special mention to Kris, who oversees the huge kitchen and all the staff, who produce an incredible selection of food. The house reef is the best we have ever seen, and you get an opportunity to snorkel along the drop-off, to see such a huge variety of extremely healthy coral, fish and assorted sea animals. Lots of activities available, you just need to look when you get there. We will definitely go back, we just need to plan for when. Cannot recommend highly enough.
