Everything was simply perfect from the very first day to the last. We chose this resort for our honeymoon and we couldn't have made a better choice.The cleanliness is impeccable and the services are of the highest standard. A special and heartfelt thank you goes to Nabina: super professional, kind, and incredibly sweet, she took care of our room every morning with exceptional attention to detail. The food is delicious and varied, catering to every taste. The ocean is superlative, with breathtaking colors, making it ideal for those seeking ultimate relaxation. We also went snorkeling, which was a truly fascinating and unforgettable experience.We also visited the SPA, where we enjoyed hydrotherapy and fantastic couple's massages that completely rejuvenated us. An unforgettable experience that we highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect stay in the Maldives! 🌴🐬🥥

Olhuveli was the second half of our two centre stay in the Maldives. It didn't disappoint! Arriving by speedboat was almost more exciting than the sea plane to our first resort, I have never travelled so fast in a boat and we were well looked after. We stayed in a beach pavillion, it is small but had everything we needed. A welcome gift of fruit and chocolates was a lovely touch, the fruit was mostly new to us and delicious. The room was kept clean and mini bar replenished every day by Sanjita who should also be recognised for her fabulous towel sculptures. The new long pool outside our room added the wow factor. It was warm, beautiful, and just outside our door. We spent much of our stay in it. The barman in the swim up bar was happy to make drinks to order and there was no shortage of comfortable sun loungers and beds. The green tiles in the pool not only looked good but felt soft and comfortable to our feet. We tried out the sunrise bar and the Olive bar which both had excellent pools and service as well. The food was wonderful, 5 courses in Milano although our eight year old was more interested in the resident family of kittens. Pizzas at crust and flame and Island pizza were very good. The buffet was busy but efficient and tasty. Namaste served us the best Indian cuisine I have had in a while, all with wonderful beach locations and views over the sea. The local island tour was well organised, I really appreciated my personal local guide Shahid. The system of using the local shopkeepers as guides works really well in both directions. There is so much sea life in the lagoon, we saw reef sharks and sting rays from the bridge between the two islands and I was surprised to swim over a couple of sea turtles while snorkelling off the beach in the lagoon. We tried kayaking and had a great time speeding around the lagoon on an inflatable pulled by a jet ski. Don't miss the Manta rays at the end of the pier in the early evenings, they are mesmerising. One end of the island was closed for building work during our stay. However it didn't affect our stay at all. We didn't hear any noise, all restaurants were available and the island never felt crowded. We loved Olhuveli and are trying to work out when we can come back!

We have just returned from this incredible place after a wonderful 11 days (if only it was longer!) , buckle in it is a lengthy post! 🥰 I thought I would do a post sharing our time and wish anyone heading here a wonderful, wonderful holiday. We stayed in a grand beach suite with pool (2 adults, a 14 year old and an 11 year old), it was stunning and such a nice size! Lovely and modern and the al fresco bathroom was fun 😁 This isn't a bare foot Island but my son and husband embraced barefoot life and we saw several others doing the same 😊 Honestly i have struggled to find any faults with this place, it was a 10/10 holiday. The staff are wonderful, it is clean, modern and just gorgeous, the food is absolutely fantastic (favourites were crust and flame and siyam orchid, but also Namaste was fab and my husband and kids liked Island Pizza aswell). The cocktails were also spot on, like really good. We had the dine around option and we were very happy with it, my advice would be is book restaurants asap, i had pre booked a few weeks beforehand and i am glad i did as when i tried to swap i was unable to at short notice. We also had a meal over at the adult island at the Culinarium, also fantastic. The only niggle and I mean a little niggle is my husband would have liked more than 2 beers in the fridge a day 😅 The speedboat was absolutely fine for anyone worried, yes it is a little bumpy at times but the time does go quickly . On our return we were the first speedboat to leave, we were collected at 5:15am, able to have a bit of breakfast (very handy!) And departed at just after 6am for a 9am flight. We also had the pleasure of a spectacular sunrise 🌅 I had a spa treat with my daughter (she had a child massage and facial and I had a warm bamboo massage - incredible!), it was very nice. We had one day and night of rain - and oh my rain it did!! Was impressive, didn't ruin anything for us, we just chilled and played games and drank some wine 😅then before we knew it was tropical hot again 🌞 The current works - i was a bit worried about this, we stayed on Dream Island and we did have a view to the left of some of the screens that have been put up to shield the work, to the right utter perfection so I wasn't that bothered. We heard minimal noise, it didn't detract from the paradise so please don't let it put you off. The non motorised water sports was very good to be able to book, the kids loved the paddle boarding and pedalos! Again, make sure you book in advance. We also booked onto a sunset cruise included in our booking and was treated to an unbelievable dolphin experience with them swimming and showing off alongside the boat. Incredible. Overall we are already looking to return, the holiday blues are real and it has honestly cemented in our mind that we prefer this type of hospitality and experience over the Caribbean. Very jealous of anyone heading to Olhuveli! Enjoy! 😊

We spent 5 days at this property which was nothing short of paradise. Our family age range was from 3-81yrs. And everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. There is plenty of activities to keep one busy, the food spread and variety is huge and delicious and the staff is very helpful and sweet. Would like to thank especially Niko the host. We stayed in the beach villa and the water villa and I highly recommend staying in both. It’s a heavenly experience.

We had an amazing experience with both the Private 3 Point Snorkelling trip and the Shoot Me!! Private Hire. Everything was well organized, enjoyable, and made even better by our trip guide, Eyeman. Eyeman was incredibly friendly, professional, and helpful throughout both activities. He made sure we were comfortable, guided us patiently, and went above and beyond to make the experience fun and memorable. He also helped us get some great photos and made sure we didn’t miss the best spots. Highly recommend both activities, especially with Eyeman as your guide! He truly made the experience unforgettable.
