Very nice hotel if you are looking to pay a bit more. Has Indian food at Kumin, Italian at waves and Japanese/Asian at jade. Has nice swimming pools and a beach with drinks and food at the swimming pool and beach. I had an excellent experience with family. recommend it to others too.

Our stay at Le Méridien Ile Maurice exceeded all our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine Mauritian hospitality and warm smiles that made us feel at home. Thank you Lorna, Ashley, Vik, Kessen, Chris, Reyad and the entire team for the warm welcome. The hotel is beautifully maintained, with stunning views, lush tropical gardens, and spacious, elegant rooms. Waking up to the sound of the waves and enjoying the breathtaking sunsets from our balcony was unforgettable. The food was exceptional, with a wide variety of delicious dishes to suit every taste. Every restaurant offered a unique dining experience, and the quality and presentation were consistently outstanding. Thank you to Chef Naiken and Chef Ali and also for preparing our baby food puree. What truly made our stay special was the exceptional service. Every member of the team was friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure we had a wonderful experience. Their professionalism and genuine care made all the difference. Thank you Ashley for going the extra mile for us. Thank you Kessen for the buggy rides. The pools, beach, and spa created the perfect setting for relaxation, while the activities available ensured there was never a dull moment. Whether you're travelling as a couple, with family, or celebrating a special occasion, this resort offers the perfect balance of luxury, comfort, and tranquility. Disappointing experience despite friendly staff The hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the food was good. Unfortunately, the hotel was not wheelchair accessible, which made our stay extremely difficult. Before our visit, we specifically called the hotel multiple times, including one week before our stay, to confirm whether it was wheelchair accessible. We were assured that it would be. However, to our surprise, the room allocated to my mum could only be accessed by going through the parking area, and there were three steps to enter the room. This meant that my mum, who uses a wheelchair, had to manage these steps three times a day for two days, which was extremely challenging and disappointing. The room was also located on the other side of the property, where the pool access was not wheelchair accessible either. Our only option was to use the larger pool, which required climbing steps each time. I honestly do not understand why there are no proper pathways and ramps to accommodate wheelchair users. Accessibility is especially important when a guest has specifically called in advance and received confirmation that the hotel is wheelchair accessible. The experience was therefore very upsetting for our family. In addition, we noticed yellow/dark moisture stains and spots around the corners of the bathroom walls, which also needs attention. Overall, while the staff were friendly and the food was good, the lack of proper wheelchair accessibility and the cleanliness/maintenance issues significantly affected our stay. I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously and makes the necessary improvements so that guests with mobility difficulties can enjoy their stay with dignity and without unnecessary obstacles.

One of the best hotel in Mauritius

We had an amazing experience at the hotel and would highly recommend it, especially for families. The hotel felt safe, secure, clean and welcoming, with excellent professional service throughout our stay. A special thank you to Nisha and Jaya from Guest Relations, who were incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive. They made us feel genuinely welcomed and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. A huge thank you also to Samir, the chef, who went above and beyond to cater to our every need. His kindness, flexibility and attention to detail were truly appreciated. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained, and the housekeeping and room service were excellent. The hotel is also in a fantastic location, with shops, restaurants and local amenities all close by, which was particularly convenient for our family. We felt safe and secure throughout our stay, and the overall standard of service was professional and welcoming. For the quality, cleanliness, location and service, we felt the hotel offered excellent value for money. Overall, a wonderful family-friendly hotel with great amenities, fantastic staff and a convenient location. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it! ⭐️
