Radisson Blu Poste Lafayette & Spa

This is a smaller and more friendly hotel which we absolutely loved. The service from all the staff was outstanding! A special mention to Josette Petit Petit - who cooked most of the eggs I ate - poached, fried, omelettes, eggs Royale all amazing every time and to Abanash whose service in the evenings at the bar was just brilliant. Food selection was good, as we are huge fans of Indian food we always had loads of choice alongside the themed evenings. There is also the chance to book at the other restaurant which has some choices included in the all inclusive option (there are a few meals which are in addition to the package). Our room was close to reception, it has everything you need, modern and compact (there are bigger rooms, ours was the standard). Spa was good, I had one massage and would rate this very good. The gym was small but had all the basics for a decent workout. The pool was good and the amount of sunbeds was enough that you never struggled to get a spot (very few ppl out towels out early which was a big bonus). The only reason for 4 not 5 is the dogs that were allowed in the hotel and restaurant (I’m sure this is something that could easily be sorted especially for those people who are scared of dogs). Overall. Loved this hotel and would recommend and definitely would return !

Absolutely fantastic two weeks looked after like a king and queen special thanks goes to Ayesha and Dipak very attentive looking after our food and drinks Ram who sorted our excursions nothing was to much bother Divika is a very special house keeper always happy she made our room very honeymoon themed every day bless her and lastly vyk the taxi man made our outings interesting full of local knowledge he went above and beyond all in all these special people made our two weeks a holiday of a lifetime so we wish the hotel and all of their staff good health and happiness see you again definitely

The Radisson brand has fantastic luxury hotels globally however; this isn’t one of them. Rating this as a 4-star hotel is hugely optimistic especially when you compare like for like with its sister hotel Radisson Blu Azuri Resort & Spa. The following subheadings will provide more insight into the overall operation: Checking In: It seems like the presentation of a welcome drink and refreshing towels on arrival is subject to the time of day you arrive and / or the staff on duty that day and therefore there is no continuity to how guests are welcomed to the hotel. Upon arrival you are given a verbal overview of the hotel and your chosen package, after a long flight this is information anarchy and there is no guest pack or TV information to reference later on. Guest rooms: Comfortable but lacking in room amenities as advertised, that you would expect from 4 start accommodation such as hairdryer, iron & ironing board. These are available on request for short term use and not the duration of your stay. The provision of single use shower gel tubes and small bottles of shampoo does nothing to convince me of the environmental awareness associated with this hotel and sits outside the level of amenities that you would find at a real 4-star resort. The access controlled key cards are particularly problematic which required consistent re-programmed almost every day; despite keeping them well away from any electromagnetic sources such as mobile phones they consistently failed to operate and simply, they need an upgrade. Bars & Restaurants: really you have 2 choices here buffet and à la carte, the latter you will have to pay a supplement for almost everything on the dinner menu. The buffet is below par in terms of choice particularly the lunch service this has no reflection on the staff who do a fantastic job, but the choice is simply not to the same standard as the Radisson Blu Azuri so go and take a look and form your own opinion. The so-called Rooftop bar is advertised as open from 16:00 – 21:00 and 19:00-22:00 for dinner which was definitely not the case during our stay. This area is a nice, secluded spot overlooking the pool and lagoon area adjacent to the “lounge” but was unstaffed during our entire stay. There were some QR codes, and it may have been possible to have drinks brought up but again zero information presented about this in room. Location: This location is particularly isolated and there is little locally in the way of somewhere to stroll or shop although there are plenty of arranged activities and trips that will get you out and about. If you can I would advise hiring a car for a couple of days to go and explore the island at your leisure, I would also recommend the use of the sister hotels facilities using the free shuttle bus provided. The East coast is extremely windy so don’t expect to come here out of season and have full use of water sports such as kayaking etc however the snorkelling is popular. Staff: There are some outstanding staff at this hotel who work hard to ensure your stay is memorable and comfortable, the staff at the Nautilus restaurant and Aqua beach bar and restaurant are particularly worth a mention and we must give a special mention to the ladies operating the egg and omelette station at breakfast. A special mention should also be given to the housekeeping staff who went the extra mile with special little touches such as ornate towel arrangements and welcome messages laid out on the bed. Additional: During inclement weather there are few options to continue enjoying the resorts facilities due to lack of shelter or lack of comfortable spaces that could be utilised outside of your room. The bar areas are predominantly outdoor spaces and have protection from the sun in the way of sun canopies that offer little protection from the rain. The nautilus restaurant does have a dining area that could be utilised as a bar lounge post dinner, and the Aqua beach restaurant is an indoor area but offers little in the way of comfort to sit and enjoy a drink or the entertainment on offer. The “lounge” area I would describe as a sixth form college breakout area with a well-worn pool table, single PC, some well thumbed books and couches that have seen better days. In summary: Definitely not a 4-star resort, isolated location, has room for improvement but staff extremely hardworking, polite and amenable.

What a fabulous, relaxing holiday we had here - room was beautiful and spacious, with an amazing sea view 🤩 No need to reserve beds at the pool or beach early, as always one available. The food was lovely and varied in the main buffet area and at the beach. Cocktails were plentiful 🍹 Pina Colada’s were so nice. Special shout out to Shivam, he was very hard working and the way he cared for the resident dog was heart warming - keep up the good work. Nidhee - where do I start! What a beautiful young lady. I had a slip/fall on a day trip & injured my lower leg shin area - Nidhee dressed it for 2 days & I am so grateful for all her care 💫 All the staff are a credit to the hotel, they are all very friendly & attentive. Shout out to Ronish and everyone else at the Radisson Blu. I would 100% recommend this hotel 🤍
