Our engagement celebration at Veranda Grand Bay on 26 August 2026 was a truly special occasion, made all the more memorable by the exceptional hospitality, thoughtful service and genuine care of the entire team. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed, valued and reassured that every detail was being handled with care. The beautiful setting, attentive service and thoughtful gestures created the perfect atmosphere for such an important moment in our lives. A Special Thank You to Mr Rajkumar Ruttanah ❤️ Our heartfelt thanks go first to Mr Rajkumar Ruttanah, Acting Assistant F&B Executive, who was exceptional from beginning to end. Raj does not simply provide a service — he takes genuine ownership of every request. Whether we needed assistance with an arrangement, a special request or even the smallest detail, his immediate focus was always on finding a solution. It is clear that Raj takes great pride in his work and genuinely cares about his guests’ experience. Having him there on such an important occasion gave us an incredible sense of reassurance. We truly felt looked after. He went far beyond our expectations, and we are sincerely grateful for his kindness, professionalism and dedication. 💕 Warm Hospitality & Genuine Care We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to Roukaya, Guest Experience Manager, whose warmth, kindness and welcoming nature made our stay even more pleasant. She was always available whenever we needed assistance and consistently made us feel cared for. ☺️💕 A special mention also goes to Darren, who kindly assisted us with our luggage and greeted us with such helpfulness. 🧳 A Wonderful Mauritian Culinary Experience 🇲🇺 We were absolutely delighted by the amazing Mauritian buffet on 26 August 2026. The variety, authentic flavours and quality of the dishes offered a wonderful taste of Mauritius and made the dining experience truly memorable. It was a beautiful celebration of the island’s rich culinary heritage, and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite — especially the biryani and lamb salmi. 😍 The Little Details That Matter ❤️ Our room was clean, comfortable and beautifully maintained, providing a peaceful and relaxing space during our stay. We would also like to recognise Ms Simla, who served us our omelettes with the most genuine and cheerful smile. ❤️ Her warmth immediately brightened my morning and was a wonderful reminder of how much a simple interaction can elevate a guest’s experience. We had experienced a slightly less welcoming breakfast service the previous morning. While we certainly do not wish to single anyone out or cause concern, it highlighted just how much the small gestures matter in hospitality. A warm greeting, a smile and taking a moment to ask guests what they would like can make a significant difference. That is precisely why Ms Simla stood out. Her attentiveness, warmth and kindness towards us and the other guests were genuinely appreciated. She reminded us that exceptional hospitality is often found in the smallest details. Our sincere thanks also go to Rayyen, Oodesh, Cristabelle, Rishi, Usha — whose amazing beetroot juice deserves a special mention! ❤️ — and Noah for their kindness, professionalism and assistance throughout our stay. My first stay at Veranda Grand Baie, well chosen as destination. Staff excellent always at your service, proactive and always listen carefully help where they can help. The food has been excellent and, especially the room service, and big thanks to the lady who clean the room. Taking their time to clean as they know our needs and as we are elderly people. In the whole, the service has been excellent. This is our style hotel and we are happy we choose your hotel Staff members has been really kind at the bar, every night I have tested all the Mauritians rum and was good. Thanks to the team. We would surely recommend the hotel, good hospitality and good ambiance

The location was breathtaking. The staff created such a friendly atmosphere. They made it so homely and the attentativness was appreciated by catering for special meal request for breakfast with roti and curry. Rooms are neat, well kept and very comfortable. The balcony created extra space and seating outside.

It is our first stay at verand grand baie. We normally book next door hotel , this time we opted for this hotel and we received what we expected . We had a relaxing moment. Chilling and really peaceful area. Our room was ni e and clean. We'll maintained and we would like to mentioned that it was a beautiful room and nice deco. The hotel itself was nice and calm atmosphere. We like the furniture and small corner where relax and sat for hours and appreciate our moments. The food was amazing. Different choice for the food. And we had Chef Sudhir who bring us curry for breakfast even if not asking for it. We were really pampered. During the day we go out discovering grand baie and the area is nice and lots of things to do. We find that the location is good and appropriate if you want to go around. We would recommend this hotel to our relatives and put a note of 10 above 10. We wanted to thanks Roykya and Aurore for their kindness. And a big thanks to all the staff. We really appreciate their kindness.

This was my first time staying at Veranda Grand Baie, and I had a really lovely experience. From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and well looked after. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, with a great location, relaxing surroundings, and a lovely setting to enjoy a holiday in Mauritius. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with a smile. I especially appreciated the peaceful environment and the overall hospitality throughout my stay. It was a great place to relax, unwind, and enjoy my first experience at Veranda Grand Baie. Overall, I’m very happy with my stay and would definitely consider coming back again.
