Savoy Seychelles Resort & Spa

We stayed at Savoy Seychelles for four nights in July with our five month-l old baby. While the staff were generally friendly and the hotel has good facilities, our room experience (particularly the way management handled our complaint) was extremely disappointing. Our first room was noticeably damp, with our hygrometer recording 86% humidity at 23.1°C (see first photo). After complaining, we were moved to another room. Unfortunately, that room recorded approximately 92% at 20.6°C (see second photo). The room and bedding felt damp. Engineering attended and tried to resolve the problem, but ultimately we were given a small dehumidifier. This was hardly a solution, the tank repeatedly filled and its alarm sounded day and night, including while our baby was sleeping. After our stay, Sergio, the Rooms Division Manager, acknowledged in writing that the humidity observed in both rooms was unusual. He suggested, without any proof, that open balcony doors might possibly explain it, but we had not left them open other than for normal entry and exit. What turns this into a one-star review is the complaint handling afterwards. I repeatedly requested escalation to senior management. Despite multiple emails, detailed evidence and ample opportunity to respond, senior management simply stopped engaging. No substantive response and no resolution. That's particularly disappointing because there were aspects of Savoy we genuinely liked, and some staff did try to help. But at this price point, two rooms with these conditions, followed by senior management ignoring a well-documented complaint, simply isn't acceptable. Problems happen in hotels. How management responds to them is what matters, and unfortunately that is where Savoy let us down most. I would not recommend staying here.

A beautiful hotel with great amenities. The pools and the beach are wonderful and the rooms were very nice, not exceptional. The food at the buffet was good but not great, and the restaurant areas seemed to be understaffed, with many younger employees who were not very knowledgeable as far as the food and drinks. Front desk staff are excellent.

We enjoyed our stay there. The hospitality was great. Andri's hospitality and attention to detail was remarkably exceptional. Iman's service was good.

Our stay was exceptional from start to finish. The property was impeccably clean, with pristine rooms and beautifully maintained spaces that made relaxing completely effortless. The service throughout our stay was outstanding. Every team member was warm, attentive, and consistently went out of their way to ensure we felt welcomed and well cared for. The dining was equally impressive, each meal was fresh, full of flavor, and thoughtfully prepared with a fantastic variety of options every day. A very special thank you to Andri for organizing our excursions. Every outing was seamlessly planned, flawlessly timed, and tailored to give us unforgettable local experiences without an ounce of stress. Andri's local insight and effort truly elevated our trip. We could not have asked for a better holiday and will certainly be back!

Beautiful hotel with amazing views, a lovely pool, and an excellent breakfast. The service was outstanding throughout our stay, and a special thank you to Andri Syahputra for his kindness, professionalism, and exceptional hospitality. We had a wonderful experience and would happily stay here again.
