A Truly Special Stay – Thank You, Golden Sands Negombo ❤️ We had such a wonderful and memorable stay at Golden Sands Negombo. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for, and the warmth of the team made our experience even more special. Our stay was particularly meaningful because we celebrated our wedding ceremony at the property, and we cannot thank the team enough for helping make such an important moment in our lives so beautiful. A very special thank you to Chaminda, the Food & Beverage Manager, and his entire team. They did an amazing job with the wedding ceremony, paying attention to the little details and making sure everything went smoothly. Their dedication and genuine care meant a lot to us, and it is something we will remember for a long time. Chaminda deserves a special mention. He was always there whenever we needed assistance, but what we appreciated most was how approachable and genuine he was. He was not only there to do his job — he made time for us, was always happy to have a chat, and made us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. We were also very impressed by the General Manager. It was lovely to see him personally walking around the property, meeting guests, having conversations, and genuinely checking that everyone was enjoying their stay. That personal touch is something you don’t experience everywhere, and it made a real impression on us. And of course, a big thank you to the Reception team. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with a smile. Their kindness and positive attitude made us feel at home throughout our stay. Hotels are remembered for many things, but most importantly, they are remembered for how the people make you feel. The team at Golden Sands made us feel welcomed, appreciated, and cared for, and for that we are truly grateful. Thank you to everyone at Golden Sands Negombo for being part of such an important and beautiful chapter of our lives. ❤️ We leave with wonderful memories, grateful hearts, and hopefully, a reason to come back again. First hotel after arrival in Sri Lanka. Very good hotel and very nice swimming pool.

Perfectly placed by the beach, you see beautiful sunsets. The rooms are spacious, good air conditioning with sparkling pools. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The restaurant facilities are clean the evening buffet offers a great variety of foods. I need gluten free meals and a chef walked around with me to show me the foods that I could eat. I received the same help in the morning for breakfast. Even the rest of the waitstaff appeared to be knowledgeable in gluten free requests.

This is one of my favourite hotels ever. The staff were so friendly and kind. The rooms were big and had everything needed. Beachfront, nice pools, food was out of this world. It had a very homely feel and we just can not wait to return. We booked through Tui half board 10 nights. Flew with Ethiad via Abu Dhabi so when the war broke out and flights were cancelled Tui moved us to their Rui hotel. We were gutted as this hotel was so much better in every way.
