Hotel Royal Atlantis Spa & Resort

First off, the majority of the staff were amazing. Went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and joked along with us. However, there were a couple that were very miserable. One in fact, a cleaner who works mostly in the evenings was extremely rude. He pointed us out of the restaurant because he wanted to clean, without saying a word. He shoved one of the children out of the way, and then we saw him grab somebody else's child by the wrist the next day by the pool. Rooms were fine, cleaned when needed. Could have done with thicker sheets, but overall nothing crazy great or poor about them. The food was... meh. The A La Carte was sold to us as us needing to go to reception in the morning and book for the same day. However, when we went to book we were told that the a la carte was actually booked all week already. Which made no sense to us. When we eventually complained and got a seat, the food was underwhelming and we ended up going back to the buffet after. Several of us were left unwell throughout the week so not sure if they wash their salads etc with tap water. As detailed in other reviews, there are a few add ons so it's not entirely all inclusive. You need to pay for the games room, orange juice at breakfast, and the popcorn/candy floss in the evening. Pool bars are understaffed, so you end up getting poor service from the staff as they're so busy. The waffle house staff do not want to be there. They were so miserable, and shouted at us for going in a minute late (if we're late, that's fine - but rudeness isn't the answer). They also only open 2pm-4pm, and rarely have vanilla which is a bit of a pain with fussy kids. It rained one night, and there was nowhere inside for our party to sit in the shelter so we had to go to bed. The pattisserie room could have been used, but we were again rudely kicked out (after being given permission from reception). To summarise, the staff on the whole were great (with few really poor exceptions). Food was mediocre, but rooms ok. I wouldn't break the bank on this place but I wouldn't actively turn anybody off.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel and really enjoyed our time there. The pool and sea were very clean, and the food was also great. A special thank you to the fantastic animation team! The Mini Disco was so much fun every evening, and the kids loved taking part in the Mini Club activities. We would especially like to thank Burcu from the Mini Club for her kindness, energy, and amazing communication with the children. She was truly wonderful and made their experience even more enjoyable. We had a great time overall and would definitely love to come back!

We stayed at this hotel with our family for 10 days. The hotel isn’t very large, but the grounds is green and well maintained. The room is basic economic, but clean. The food is delicious, but there is lack of options. The entertainment could be improved, but the animation team is very friendly, especially Sinem and Carlos. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Thank employees of hotel Royal Atlantis for our great vacation. All entertainments were on high level. Good atmosphere,kind people around, delicious food, good room service, friendly barmen, very nice kids animation program are in this hotel. Specially, I want thanks Ms. Burcu for work with kids on mini disco, kids club and her kind attitude for my daughter. Thanks to all hotel stuff for our wonderful vacation. Good location of hotel is also convenient for excursions in region. The only one thing was upset me that the sea wasn't clean. We walked further along the beach in search of clear water. We liked Side Antik and we will be back next summer in this place.
