Kamelya Collection Aishen Club

This is our experience, I don’t usually write reviews as I’m more of a person who reads them however we decided to book because of some of the positive reviews. Although not terrible, we will not come back. We came as a family with mixed aged kids. We had the same issue with other reviewers where our room was not available. You can imagine the issue changing rooms caused after a long day of travelling. We have been to Turkey before and this hotel seems average at best. So before you book, note a few things. The food in the buffet gets tired very quickly. You can only book one al a carte meal for free if you are staying 7+ days. If you want to try a different one, you have to pay. The room we were in was dated, mould in the bathroom and we could hear the family next door (screaming children, running up and down, moving furniture around, conversations etc) so bring earplugs if you want a silent night sleep). When it comes to food and drink, the staff seem to pick and choose who they want to serve drinks to so if you’re one of the lucky ones, you won’t have to queue up and wait an age for a drink. This is extremely frustrating because why serve some and not all? This is even more frustrating when you have a big group and have to carry drinks for 4,5,6 etc people. There is also a lull between breakfast and lunch and dinner unless you walk to the beach bar which isn’t particularity close. That bar has a relatively small seating area and can get very busy so be warned. There is a lot of things to do (buy) that cost extra so be warned especially with kids. Think bizarre/market with locals trying to flog their goods/services. One thing that stood out and I don’t know if it’s because it’s the end of August and the staff are tired or maybe it’s because we are not Turkish or part of their ‘preferred’ group of tourists but the staff didn’t come across as warm and friendly. This was felt especially when you’re getting food or in a sitting area for drinks. Management should really ask staff to treat all customers the same. It’s not nice to see others being waited on while you’re still sat there and staff are walking past you acknowledging some and ignoring others. Also Friday evening there was no entertainment, no music, no nothing. Very odd. In conclusion, we won’t be back. Having three hotels on one complex maybe causes some staffing issues which it really shouldn’t. But having travelled to Turkey previously and stayed in an all inclusive, I can tell you that this falls below the standard I was expecting. People pay good money to have a nice time away with the family, away from work etc and staff really make a big difference to your holiday when you’re treated right. So unfortunately for us, we won’t be recommending this place to friends and family.

We had a fantastic stay at Kamelya. Which was a combination of three hotels with facilities. We loved how they were all decorated. The whole place was really clean and maintained to a high standard. The staff were friendly. There was a good selection of food and drinks on offer throughout the day. The beach was beautiful, soft sand and clear shallow waters. The only downside was that the evening shows always seemed to have half dressed women dancing provocatively. I felt it wasn't really suitable for young children at some points.

Do not expect any flexibility in this hotel!! This holiday has caused me and my family so much stress and difficulties for a simple room change. They don’t care about their customers and the comfort of their customers. I’ve emailed the manager, spoken to reception, guest relations you name it I’ve spoken to them And no help! I have been to Antalya a few times and have never been treated this way. Sad as the hotel has so much potential! So annoyed as I still have 5 more days here! Just feel like a chunk of my holiday has been taken away from my kids just so I can complain. I know writing this won’t change anything !

Great hotel!! Only issue was some of the entertainment organisation.. a bit all over the place, tonight put name down for karaoke which started 45 mins late and finished 10 mins early. We were only ones missed off.. was it because we were english...
