Selene Beach & Spa Hotel

Nice hotel and staff. Restaurant absolutely dreadful. Lack of activities and entertainment and certainly didn’t cater for the English. Disappointing after reading the reviews before we booked.

We have just returned from a weeks holiday at Selena beach and spa hotel. There our so many good points about the hotel that just a few very minor changes would def bring it to a 5* . Starting with the good … The hotel is spotless and is constantly being kept this way by very busy staff 99% of the staff our very friendly and always ready with a hello and a smile . We had the best housekeeper Rukiye our room was spotless with clean towels bedding changed regularly floors washed everyday and we always came back to a towel display on our bed she really is an asset to your hotel . The pool area is good , yes you do get people saving sun beds spots they like best but that happens everywhere and it’s ok you could still always find empty sun beds till at least early afternoon . The bars ours really good and drinks our plentiful. There is a cake and coffee shop open from 11-7 in hotel def worth a visit oh and not forgetting the ice cream. We ate lunch most days in the snack bar and that was ok . Now for the very few things that we really struggled with and to us it’s a big part of your holiday THE FOOD in the restaurant. Maybe it’s us being English but they def don’t cater for us it’s all Turkish and tbh we ended up not going for evening meal as unless you want chips and salad you have no choices . They definitely cater for other nationalities far more which is a real shame . Earlier I said 99% of the staff our really friendly and the 1% that isn’t was the lady who did the eggs and omelettes at breakfast she is so rude and definitely doesn’t want to be there and serve you . She needs speaking to and her customer service looking at . She is actually very unpleasant and I don’t like saying that but it’s true All in all we had a very restful week and if the food had been better I’d say it would have been perfect which is such a shame.

Great all inclusive experience! Sun, ocean, private beach, rooftop terrace with private pool, public pool in a tropic garden, spacious super nice room with private balcony, more all-you-can-eat in numerous different restaurants and eateries than you can actually eat, lots of entertainment, a whole bazar mall, pharmacy, medical services, etc right behind the hotel. Super friendly staff everywhere!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were impressed by the overall experience. The food was excellent, with a great variety and good quality. The staff were very friendly, attentive and always happy to help. The hotel itself was beautifully maintained, and the cleanliness was impeccable — everything was spotless, from the rooms to the common areas. The grounds and overall atmosphere were also lovely and well looked after. The only thing we felt was missing was a little more music and entertainment. As an adults-only hotel, we expected a bit more atmosphere, energy and activities during the day and in the evenings. The hotel is very peaceful and quiet, which is perfect if you are looking for complete relaxation, but for us it sometimes felt a little too calm. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend the hotel.
