We stayed here as a family of four (teenagers 15 & 17) for 10 nights in August. Having spent some time in Hanoi before hand, Hoi An was where we slowed the pace and while we still went out sightseeing, we spent plenty of time relaxing by the pool/beach. We chose the resort because we prefer this style of hotel to the large high rise, it has a lovely spacious, green and tropical feel which is just what we wanted! On arrival, we were greeted with cold towels and a drink while we checked in, before being shown to our room (107). We booked a 2 bedroom family garden suite, this one is tucked away and while it didn't have the outside space some had, it was really private. Our accommodation had 2 large bedrooms, each with its own large bathroom, with freestanding bath and walk in shower. The main bedroom also had it's own little lounge area and unexpectedly, there was also a small lounge area with kitchenette. Rooms were well equipped, plenty of storage space and really comfortable beds. We also had a small private, walled patio area with a water feature which was a lovely little addition. The pool and beach areas are both lovely and clean. The only downside was people reserving sun loungers, it's not something we've experienced in SE Asia before. However, we did always manage to find somewhere and the lifeguards were particularly helpful at trying to locate free loungers for us. I did have a slight issue in that the pool turned my hair green! I know several others were affected too. However, I have to say the hotel dealt with it really well. They arranged complimentary hair treatment for me in the spa which pretty much sorted it out and was actually a nice treat! Some of our swimwear was also stained by the pool but the hotel offered to launder it for us free of charge. Laundry service was very quick and most of the staining came out so although not ideal, they were very helpful in trying to resolve the problem and we did notice the lifeguards monitoring the pool water more regularly. Our son used the gym most days, it's small but had enough equipment for a decent workout. We also played pickle ball most days and even had some fairly competitive matches with Mr. Vy. Big shout out to Mr. Vy and please tell him to keep practising, next time we visit he might actually beat Mark, although not so much Harry!!! The restaurant does get busy at breakfast, especially around the egg station but the staff work really hard and we never had to wait too long. There was a huge selection of food to suit different nationalities and tastes. We had lunch at the pool bar several times, plenty of pizza, salad, burgers, sandwiches and all very good value. I think I managed to work my way through the cocktail menu too! Sunset cocktails at the beach bar were a must and we always popped in for a drink at the late bar after an evening out. We didn't eat in the restaurants in the evening. We did feel that the resort could perhaps do more to encourage people to stay and eat in the evenings. The restaurants always seemed extremely quiet which is a shame, we expected that maybe there would be some themed nights or similar to create a bit more atmosphere. Opposite the resort is a row of shops and restaurants, it's only about 5 mins in a taxi to An Bang beach which has some nice beach clubs and restaurants and 10 mins to the old town. Staff were really helpful, they helped identify destinations on the Grab app for us if we were unsure where we needed to ask for and they helped us book activities too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Palm Garden, after a busy stay in Hanoi, it was just what we wanted, a beautiful, relaxed resort but with easy access to get out and explore the local area. We'd happily stay here again and would recommend to other families looking for a relaxed, tropical resort near Hoi An.

we had such a wonderful stay here. It was my 21st birthday and they made my birthday extra special! they made me a birthday cake, gave me some beautiful flowers and hand wrote me a beautiful birthday card this was done by the lovely Mr VY. Mr Thi (coconut man) took us on a little trip around the hotel to pick some fresh coconuts to drink by the pool which was amazing as well as him bringing us fresh mango! Everybody at the hotel was absolutely lovely, so attentive and friendly especially Mr Smiler! Breakfast was amazing and there were so many options to choose from as well as the lunch and dinner menus. The hotel is perfectly situated near the old town and the Duck stop! Everyone really did become family to us and we cannot wait to come back to see them all again ❤️

Just finishing up our stay at The Palm Garden Resort and our 7 days has flown, being by the beach is so relaxing. Great breakfast, good coffee (yesss), clean and well kept surroundings and room. The happy hour at beachfront bar is perfect, Thien is the best and hardest worker. Looks like he loves his job, always smiling, always scouring the environment for travellers next needs, great people skills, and the one night he wasn’t on duty it seemed to take twice as many staff to do his job! Oh and great cocktails! Spent most of the day lazing by the beach and pool.
