This hotel is excellent all round. The staff were fantastic, the food amazing and rooms exceptionally clean. Superb place to stay. It is also a bonus having Ocean Dives located on site for scuba diving and snorkelling along with the option to sail or paddle board, all of which were extremely well run and professional.

After a busy week on safari in Kenya, this hotel was exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. We were lucky enough to be given a standalone Superior bungalow, which was spacious, full of character, and had a wonderfully private, laid-back feel. It was beautifully suited to the setting and made our stay feel that little bit more special. The bungalow was a real highlight of the holiday. We chose the all-inclusive package and were very glad we did. The selection of food and drinks was excellent throughout our stay, with plenty of choice and something to suit every taste. Meals were served in different locations depending on the time of day, which gave each dining experience a slightly different atmosphere and added to the enjoyment. The food was consistently impressive and far better than you would normally expect from a hotel buffet. Evening dinners were themed, with dishes inspired by everything from the ocean to Italy, and there was always a generous spread of fresh, flavourful options. Every meal felt thoughtfully prepared, well presented, and genuinely enjoyable. A special mention must go to Scott, the Food and Beverage Manager from Scotland. He was friendly, approachable, and clearly takes great pride in what he does. The high standards throughout the restaurants, the spotless presentation of the venues, and the quality of the food were a real credit to him and his team. He also gave us some excellent recommendations for places to visit in Stone Town, including a steak restaurant that was absolutely worth seeking out. Thanks, Scott, for your hospitality, advice, and good humour. Without doubt you are a massive asset both the Ocean Paradise and Zanzibar! We would also like to thank Lily, who looked after an insect bite on my daughter’s foot with such care and kindness. When it wasn’t healing as quickly as expected, she cleaned and dressed it, checked on it again later in our stay, and even came to see us early (6.30 am) on the morning of our departure to treat it one final time. Her thoughtful attention and genuine concern meant a great deal to us and really stood out. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and felt genuinely well looked after from start to finish. Comfortable accommodation, outstanding food, and warm, attentive service made this a holiday to remember. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel and would happily return.

We (my wife and three children) had the most brilliant time on Zanzibar. The staff at Ocean Paradise were all incredibly happy, always willing to help and the service was most definitely with a smile. The food, for all meals, was delicious (ate far too much!) and there was such a good variety. Scotty, the manager, most definitely leads from the front, always willing to help ensuring everyone is happy and have what they need. We can't fault the cleanliness of the rooms and the whole hotel.

First class service from check in to check out. Room very clean and spacious and more importantly quiet. The food was consistently excellent and varied across each day , many choices to suit even the pickiest of people. Location is stunning on the beach but the touts become very very annoying the moment you leave the hotel. They literally sit there waiting at the hotel steps. Overall i would rate this as one of the best holiday hotels we have every stayed in , excellent customer service , excellent food and generally a very good feel good factor .
