Leonardo Crystal Cove Hotel & Spa by the Sea

Day 9 of our stay... definitely rate this as a 5☆ experience.. Food is fresh, varied , well presented of top quality produce every meal time... Labelled and for most foods cooked in front of you on the grills .. Rooms & hotel grounds are immaculate, clean,,modern , with great access for all . Entertainment is low key and varied.. not tried the al la cartes yet buffet restaurant has it all for us.. Drinks are all good you can upgrade to premium but we've not found that necessary.. Location is 30 minutes from Protarus centre walking or 5 mins on bus .. Big thumbs up to ALL staff at this hotel eager to please , happy smiley faces from all !!! So not going to name any as they are all excellent -absolutely no negatives from us just a big positive 👍 to all staff .. Would we recommend and come here again ?? That's a big YESSS made to feel welcome and valued by all .. Much appreciated.. 2 days left now of this brilliant holiday...

Staying here at the moment. A lovely, clean hotel. Staff are amazing. Always helpful and smiling. They work so hard and can not do enough to help make your stay pleasant/enjoyable. Food is very plentiful, good quality and lots of choice. We enjoyed the different theme each evening for dinner. We haven't eaten at the Italian or Japanese restaurants as these are not included in the all -inclusive package. The largers are really nice and cocktails are made to order (not pre-mixed). The gin bar is a nice alternative to sit having drink on an evening. Standard room is modern, very clean and lovely shampoo, conditioner and body lotion complimentary with a good, strong hairdryer. Sunbeds are plentiful at all times of the day and a refreshing change not to have the sunbed wars that occur in other hotels. Evening entertainment was nice and varied. Gym is well equipped and modern and was lovely and quiet each time we visited. The location of the hotel is a quiet residential area but we walked the 30 min in to Protaras which made a nice change. There are frequent local buses to Protaras or Aya Napa. The small beach is a 5 min walk away and lovely for swimming. A thoroughly enjoyable holiday. I would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Stunning, peaceful luxury — and an exceptional massage We had a wonderful stay and found the whole experience incredibly relaxing and luxurious. Our room was beautiful, with huge wall-to-wall windows and a massive balcony with its own jacuzzi, giving us stunning views over the turquoise sea. The whole hotel has a calm, serene atmosphere. There is live music in the evenings, but it is lovely, gentle music from solo musicians, often accompanying themselves on guitar. It was very pleasant and never too loud. One of the highlights for us was the immediate access to the sea from the hotel garden. You can walk straight down to the purpose-built jetty and ladder and swim in wonderfully warm, crystal-clear water. The underwater visibility is fantastic. We swam with goggles and saw shoals of fish and even sea slugs, so I would definitely recommend bringing a pair. The rocky coastline is fascinating, with rock pools and lots to explore. The rocks are sharp and there are sea urchins, so proper waterproof shoes such as Crocs are essential. There are also lovely walks directly from the hotel, with beautiful views down towards the sea where turtles swim. There were plenty of boats to watch coming and going, but the hotel itself is in a wonderfully peaceful and uncrowded setting. The spa was another real highlight. We booked the Extended Greek Wellness Journey, and it was excellent. My massage was carried out by Theodora, who was exceptionally skilled. She seemed to know exactly where all the tension was and used just the right amount of pressure to work out the knots. It was genuinely healing, soothing and deeply relaxing. I would come back for the massage alone! My husband and I booked identical treatments at the same time, and the hotel arranged for us to have our massages simultaneously in the same treatment room, which was perfect for our schedule and made the experience even more enjoyable. The rooms were immaculate and beautifully presented, with extremely comfortable beds. The breakfast, lunch and buffet supper were all very good, and the pool was lovely. I also joined a 30-minute Aqua class, which was great fun and clearly enjoyed by everyone taking part. The staff were lovely throughout our stay, and the facilities everywhere were absolutely immaculate. We particularly appreciated how peaceful the hotel felt. Other guests were clearly enjoying themselves, but everyone seemed to be doing so in a quiet and considerate way. There was no loud or disruptive behaviour — just a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere. If I had to suggest one small improvement, it would be the inclusive drinks selection. I don’t drink alcohol, so I would have appreciated more healthy soft drink options, such as spring water and fresh real juice rather than flavoured juice/squash. However, the tap water was perfectly fine, so this was really only a minor point. Overall, this was a perfectly relaxing luxury experience. Beautiful surroundings, wonderful sea swimming, excellent spa treatments, lovely food and genuinely peaceful surroundings. We would absolutely come back.

Fabulous location and lovely atmosphere. Really intuitive and skilled masseuse with a broad range of treatment options. Tolis was especially excellent and professional. The treatment room was clean and subtly lit, set out for two. Not the cheapest but worth it and there are good discounts available.
