Olympic Lagoon

We’ve not long returned from an absolutely fantastic stay at Olympic Lagoon Resort in Ayia Napa, and it genuinely exceeded our expectations, again. This was our 3rd year in a row of going, and was lucky enough to stay for 3 weeks this year!!! The best thing about this hotel is the staff. They are simply incredible — warm, friendly, attentive and genuinely seem to care about making sure every guest has the best possible experience. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and their service really makes this hotel stand out. The main restaurant staff were incredible, from the ladies that organised your table, to the waiting staff and the chefs themselves. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The food is fantastic, with a great choice and plenty of variety. There was always something delicious to look forward to, and the quality was consistently excellent. Steve at the pool bar is such a massive personality, it feels a different place on his days off. He is brilliant..... great with the kids and brings endless laughter and jokes with the adults. Ivo at the adults only pool is also another very special member of staff, a true gentleman who lights up the bar everytime he is there. One of the real game changers is the sunbed allocation. Knowing you have your own allocated sunbeds takes away all the usual stress of getting up ridiculously early to claim a spot. It makes such a difference and allows you to properly relax and enjoy your holiday. All the team work so hard to make sure every guest is being looked after, bed allocation, handing out fresh towels, collecting used towels, collecting used glasses and ensuring the pool areas are as clean as possible at all times. Their hard work can easily get over looked, but for most people on this sort of holiday, the majority of your time is spent round the pool, so massive shout out to George, Jallub, Christiana, Claudio, Jiwan, Sotiria, Billey and Andreas. Keep up the good work!! Our kids absolutely loved the Teens Club too. With PlayStations, table tennis and a pool table, it gave them a brilliant place to hang out, have fun and make friends, while giving us peace of mind knowing they were in a safe and welcoming environment. It was a huge hit with them and definitely added to the holiday. If I had to mention one area for improvement, it would be the rooms. We stayed the Family Suite with sliding door. They were perfectly comfortable and clean, but some areas are starting to look a little tired and could benefit from an update. A refurbishment would really bring the rooms up to the same high standard as the rest of the resort and make an already fantastic experience even better. Overall, Olympic Lagoon is a beautiful resort with fantastic food and facilities, but it’s the amazing staff who truly make it special. They create such a welcoming atmosphere and are a huge credit to the hotel. We absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend Olympic Lagoon Resort to anyone looking for a relaxing, high-quality family holiday in Cyprus. We can’t wait to return! ☀️🇨🇾❤️

Great hotel to stay in - food, amenities, rooms - and best of all the service. My suggestion to the hotel would be to have different evening shows next year, having the same shows next year would put me off re-visiting next year. Otherwise, wouldn't change a thing. Felt really pampered, service is exceptional and staff so helpful - beautiful, comfortable and clean rooms. Space for everyone, those who enjoy games and company and those who enjoy a more quiet atmosphere.

One of our best hotel experiences – outstanding hospitality! We had a wonderful stay at the Olympic Lagoon Resort Ayia Napa and can honestly say that this was one of the best hotel experiences we have had. We have travelled quite a lot and stayed in many different hotels and resorts over the years, but what really makes this hotel stand out is the people. The entire team was exceptionally friendly, attentive and genuinely welcoming. Even though the resort accommodates many guests, we never felt like just another room number. We stayed in a Deluxe Superior Room with Pool and Garden and loved the atmosphere of the resort. The restaurants, food and service were excellent, and the hospitality of the Cypriot people made us feel incredibly comfortable throughout our holiday. We also appreciated the many personal touches. The surprise bottle of sparkling wine in our room was a lovely gesture, and the hotel made a real effort with a birthday surprise and cake. After a small misunderstanding, everything worked out perfectly – mission complete! 😊 The evening entertainment was varied and enjoyable, and there was always something going on without the resort ever feeling overwhelming. There were a few minor points regarding the air conditioning and some aspects of cleanliness. However, these did not significantly affect our overall experience. What impressed us was that our feedback was taken seriously, including a personal response from the General Manager after our stay. Beautiful facilities are important, but genuine warmth and hospitality are what guests remember – and that is exactly where the Olympic Lagoon Resort Ayia Napa excels. We would recommend this hotel without hesitation and would absolutely return. A big thank you to the entire team for making our holiday so memorable. Sunny Cyprus has definitely won a place in our hearts!

A truly wonderful hotel. Lots of activities, food was great and the staff amazing. WiFi is very week outside the lobby area and I was unable to work from the room at all. Streaming and e mail use was very slow as well. Other then that the stay was amazing. Was there with two young children that spent most of the time either in one of the many pools, the kids club or drinking specially made non alcoholic drinks made by a very friendly staff. Shout-out to Juan and Phalos that made the kids feel seen and special.
