There is little value in simply listing all the positive features of a 4-star hotel that delivers what it promises and maintains the standards one would reasonably expect. What truly deserves recognition at Bonaca Hotel is something far more important: its people. A hotel, no matter how well designed or well equipped, is ultimately just a building. It is the people working within it who give it character, warmth and genuine hospitality. In this respect, the team at Bonaca deserves sincere congratulations. I would particularly like to mention the Hotel Manager, Mr. Milorad Stanic, whose professionalism, calm approach and ability to handle difficult situations and guest concerns were truly impressive. Good management is often most visible not when everything is easy, but in the way unexpected situations are handled — and in this respect, his professionalism stood out. My sincere thanks go to all the kind, polite and welcoming people at Bonaca Hotel who made every effort to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. At the end of the day, hotels can offer rooms, facilities and services. What guests truly remember, however, is how people made them feel. And for that, Bonaca deserves a heartfelt thank you.

Perfectly located hotel, very close to the beach and the city as well. Atmosphere was friendly and helpful. Entertainment team was really nice, especially the extremly friendly and helpful hungarian guy, Balazs, who made our stay even better. Room as expected, only thing was missing is the bedsheet change during our 11 days stay. Food was ok for this period, however for longer stay can be boring. Overall recommended for family vacation.

Overall, we were satisfied with our holiday and had a great time. The beach is just a few minutes’ walk from the hotel, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food in the hotel restaurant was tasty, well prepared and varied, so we were happy with the selection. The animation programme suited us well, although it was mainly aimed at children. Our favourite animator was Huba, a young Hungarian member of the team. He always made an effort to create a fun and friendly atmosphere for both adults and children. Despite his young age, he really stood out from the others. We especially enjoyed the water aerobics sessions with him — thank you, Huba, for the great atmosphere! There were, however, a few things that could be improved. The room cleaning was rather basic. I would have appreciated it if the room had been properly vacuumed at least once during our stay. The pool area also did not seem to be cleaned regularly, and there is no lifeguard on duty, which we found concerning, especially for families with children. We were also charged €10 per day for parking. This fee was not mentioned to us verbally at check-in and was not stated on the paperwork we received. I later found the information on the hotel’s website, so it was technically disclosed, but we still found the charge a little unexpected and quite expensive. Overall, we enjoyed our holiday and had a good experience, but there are definitely a few areas where the hotel could improve.

A brilliant holiday in a fantastic location. Aside from the location, one of the hotel’s biggest assets is its staff, especially Huba the Hungarian on the entertainment team - he’s a legend, organising some brilliant activities such as aqua gym and water polo! My teenage daughters (not often easily impressed) & I couldn’t stop smiling in his company! We’re foodies, so don’t usually book full board in hotels, but were impressed by the variety and quality of all the meals we had, and also the hygiene and cleanliness in the hotel as a whole.

Great food, great staff, near the Zlatni Rat beach, near the town. We are recomending!
