Hotel Ola

What a lovely hotel, built onto the front of a cliff so all the rooms have a fantastic sea view. There is a pool on the roof top which is very cool and refreshing, the view from here is mesmerising, you can see Trogir and Split from here. The staff at the hotel are all wonderful, the breakfast team, reception people, pool lady and massage lady thank you all for being so lovely. Couple of facts for you: walking to Trogir is a quite a trek but can be done, it was 36 degrees when we did it so we only walked the 1 time lol, 7 euros in an Uber gets you to old town Trogir. A 35 euro Uber gets you to Split and alternatively 35 euro the opposite way gets you to Primosten (expect to pay a little extra on the way back). It Is approximately a 5 minute walk to the beach and 10 minutes into Seget Dongi old town, when here you will find a number or restaurants, our favourite was Frankies. At the beach side you can find the boat taxi which will goes to Trogir, there are also boat trip booking stands, there is a camper van park here which has a little supermarket. Back to the hotel, the breakfast is lovely, you can order 2 things from the menu they provide, also there is meats and cheeses, yogurt and fruits etc it wont disappoint. There is a wellness room which is great, a lovely little pool with sun terrace and a steam room. There is a message service which I did not try but was told by numerous guests was brilliant and reasonably priced. We were at the end which meant we had a smaller balcony (still big enough) we had a bathtub at the side which was a nice touch, the beds are very large and comfortable with very nice pillows. The centralised aircon takes time but it very good, there is also a do not distrurb feature on the door plus plenty of USB ports. Couple of things to bear in mind, it is quite steep down the steps and the slope to the beach if you have mobility issues and if you have long hair 'i am told'maybe bring your own hair dryer. A disappointing choice for a holiday hotel whilst the staff were generally good, housekeeping needed more than a nudge to get things right; not a promising start. The condition of the hotel fabric (and bare chipboard doors) gave the impression of insufficient funds/ weird design. See photos and you decide. Food mediocre, drinks expensive, pool tiny. Major roadworks adjacent to the hotel was both noisy, dusty and inconvenient. Timetables for both bus and water taxi had not been updated resulting in long waits in extreme heat.

Rated as 4 star but was lacking. Drinks prices were high. Swimming pools indoor and out were in poor condition, tiles missing. Reception staff not welcoming. Restaurant staff were great, friendly and helpful. Housekeeping was less than 4 star compared to other hotels I've stayed in. No snack menu during the day, only a la carte from 2pm. Rooftop bar for non-alcoholic or alcoholic drinks only opened at 4pm. Amazing views from the balconies.

I do not understand the reviews about this hotel. It is Not a tourist hotel. It has No facilities, the pool on the roof is like a plunge pool that you share with the seagulls & there poo. No where to sit other than your balcony, the dining area outside & the roof with 2 umbrellas .The steep steps up to the hotel from the road about 5/6 flights which the hotel take No responsibility for, even though they only go to the hotel. No handrails or lighting. The view from the rooms is spectacular, open plan rooms including toilet & shower. Breakfast ok, main meals are cooked & cooked again, awful.

This is a medium sized hotel in the quiet resort of Seget 2 kilometres from Trogir and 15 minutes from Split airport. The rooms are large with sea- view balconies. We Stayed on a half board basis and the food was good and plentiful. Drinks, however, we're expensive. The hotel advertised a rooftop pool which although having brilliant views is really no more than a plunge pool. If you like swimming there is a stony beach with facilities within 300 yards. A ferry runs regularly between the beach and the busy port of Trogir.
