Aminess Liburna Hotel

We stayed for 2 nights in a Superior Room with a seaview. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and spacious with comfy beds. We had a fabulous view from the room and balcony, overlooking the old town, sea and mountains. Breakfast was great with plenty of choice. It was about 5-10 minute stroll along the waterfront to town. Loved the island and hotel- hope to return.

Oh my days, it pains me to have to give a 3 circle review , however , being well travelled, this has got to be the dirtiest pool area I have ever encountered. The hotel definitely took note of Heather and Garys concerns, as the next day after their reviews, the pool was drained and the jet wash came out. See for yourself whether the photos of before and after look any different..... This has also got to be one of the worst buffets I've ever encounterd : ( ... Yogurt that was the consistency of water, eggs cooked various ways that looked like they'd seen better days. No sliced bread for the toaster. Very lukewarm evening buffet, with tough meat. Thankfully we had planned to eat out all week to try local food so we only encountered one evening meal. But the watery yogurt was that consistency all week... On a lighter note, location location location. Yes the walk along the sea front is a bit up and down and dark at night and not the prettiest if you look left, however it saves loads of time rather than going out the front of the hotel. Our room was spotless and housekeeping were friendly. The bed so comfy, the bathroom spotless with good hot water pressure. Fridge very cold. Air con worked a treat. Towels left a lot to be desired. The view is just spectacular if you pay for upgrade. The hotel is bright and airy, check in was swift and friendly. An advertising board blew over one night in the wind, it lay for two days before we saw the manager pick it up. Even the pool man mopped around it. Not sure how no-one tripped over it. The comfy sun beds looked filthy, the curtains were hanging off their hooks. The potential here is tremendous but until there is a major overhaul we wouldn't return, which is a shame as Korcula is just divine. There is absolutely no attention to detail for a 4* hotel.

If you are thinking about coming to stunning Korkula then this Hotel is the best place to stay by far! We arrived with a very warm welcome and banter from the very friendly reception staff. Only to then discover our gorgeous room with a picture perfect view of korkula old town. Bed was comfy, great storage space, bathroom upstairs and down, tv was great, balcony back and front, such a lovely big apartment room. Honestly couldn’t fault the room apart from maybe the wall was too high on the balcony to see over it when sitting down to admire the perfect view. But even then it was fine because we just pulled the table and chairs beside the wall. Air con worked great, we also had a fridge downstairs, had everything you could want, and was modern. The staff just made the hotel even better, we had great service in the restaurant from Renaldo, always friendly and got to know him. The girls at reception were so much fun, friendly and helpful. Nothing was ever a problem and gave us great recommendations when we hired a car to tour the island. They all genuinely made our experience at the hotel even better. We even booked an extra few nights at the hotel because we did not want to leave. The food was delicious, a buffet for breakfast and dinner, with a different and very varied selection, made very special with the beautiful view over to the old town. The walk into town took about 10 mins which was always enjoyable and an easy stroll, only up a few stairs each way. I would say the only downside was the size of the pool. Although it was still enjoyable when in it. Not a lot of sun loungers but it wasn’t overly busy at the pool anyway so usually got a few beds, a lot of guests swam in the sea which is walking distance. It was a salt water pool and nice to float in it! All in all, we had the best holiday in this hotel, loved the staff, the location, setting, amenities, and korkuka is just stunning to visit, I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Book it, you will have an amazing holiday and experience, thanks to all the staff, we will definitely be back!

We arrived an hour before check-in and were told the room wasn't ready yet. My partner and I are on our honeymoon—something we had mentioned beforehand—and they initially showed us a room befitting the special nature of the trip. However, when we returned to check in, they gave us a different room—one with no view and twin beds—claiming there had been a mistake and they couldn't give us the other one... all within the span of an hour. Everything else seemed fine, but a mistake like that shouldn't happen at a hotel of this caliber.

The location is great but that’s the only positive point for this drab unkempt hotel. This is not a 4 star hotel, 2 star at best. The pool is filthy and full of slime, the bedrooms are very poorly furnished. The common areas are in need of huge investment. We were booked in for 4 nights and stayed for 1. Tells you everything. Even the staff understood our reasons for leaving. The food was ok but a bit cold. The staff were good to be honest but that is about it.
