Sun Gardens Dubrovnik

I am really happy to write this review Certainly, Sun Gardens has everything you'd expect from a 5-star hotel...full gym, spa and more but what really made Sun Gardens exceptional for me was the staff. Unfortunately, I became ill during my stay. In the middle of the night, I went to the front desk to inquire about moving to a separate room to save my roommate from my illness. So, it all starts with Antonia at 3am, who was so kind, caring and considerate. He personally went to get me some tea, and then checked on me regularly while I was sitting in a corner of the lobby. Then to Ms. Enisa who is also the Head Conceierge but regularly worked the front desk. Daily she would check on how I was feeling, and advised me like a sister. Finally, Adriana who became a dear friend. The warmth and kindness they collectively offered was extraordinary.

Even at the end of season and with mixed weather there is something to do everyday for all abilities here. Sea swimming to local coves, excellent indoor pool and spa facility, badminton, tennis, gym etc. You can be active or relax in a comfortable apartment with a commanding view of the coastline. We had a 2 bed deluxe which comfortably slept 5 and has a swingy chair which was a novelty! The Sun Gardens is nestled amongst olive groves and we enjoyed being part of the October harvesting season. A complimentary experience with gift and a lunch in the groves. It was really interesting to learn about the olive agriculture from a proud family of growers. Restaurants are high quality. There is a popular roadside bakery at the entrance to the complex which serves pizza, croissants and spinach pastries which was really handy for lunch snacks. Enisa, Head Concierge, is an excellent and genuine hospitality professional.

Amazing hotel and facilities. Very friendly staff and great food. Will definitely return. A lovely place to visit, very friendly people and very safe.

Beautiful hotel, great sea views, varied restaurants to eat in within walking distance. Very modern with very comfortable bed, spectacular. Definitely go there again.

We’ve been coming back to this hotel for over 10 years – that says it all! Beautiful seaside location, perfectly maintained, with top-level cleanliness. Breakfast is rich, fresh, and high quality. The staff are friendly, professional, and always helpful. The spa is a true highlight – modern, peaceful, and ideal for relaxing. Quiet, clean, and truly restful – a place we warmly recommend to anyone looking for a perfect getawa.
